Thank you so much for this tutorial Vince! I was attempting to figure out exactly how to connect my Android phone to my Asus Chromebook. My dear friend is in a recovery facility which does not have Wifi...that's ridiculous!!! Anyway, I shall see if it works this week when I go to visit him.

How could I do that for another phone? Can your phone be used as a wifi provider? I mean it's so complicated, if I put my tether function on, can I hook up to a wifi connect? Or do you ALREADY have wifi? Your input would be much appreciated, thank you!

Hi there i have the lg stylo 3 android smartphone and i cant get my hotspot to even work ive called a couple places and they tell me my phone doesent have the capability to even use the hotspot even though my phone says it does but idk how to figure it out i try to set it up but it still wont work so idk what would you think on that ty for ur time
I've done this but, there's always a but, lol, my neighbours are on the same frequency thus slowing my connection, (1, 6 and11, my comp/mobile has chosen 11, can I change this?) now I know if I was using a broadband connection one can chage the frequency for the wifi, can this be done with a mobile hotspot?
Using two SIM cards, myne works perfectly, when I switch on the office SIM another provider, I get message : "no secured internet connection available!" any idea.
Set up a hotspot with a password and turn on your mobile data... Then go to windows PC Click on WiFi settings ,, locate it then add same password and you are connected

This all seemed so Easy; but apparently Tracfone doesn't allow this ! There was an app that did kind of work, but it was so impossibly slow that i deleted it !
That features are seen in MIUI one=( Fir several of years , Android updated there OS crazily but doesn't add any valuable features at all ... Chinese ones are often productive 🙄
