Learn how to use your Bosch AQT 35-12 high-pressure washer.
The AQT 35-12 pressure washer, with a flow rate of 350L/h and a maximum pressure of 120 bar, is compact and lightweight, but don't be fooled by its size. The on-board accessory storage, innovative three-in-one nozzle and long six-metre high-pressure hose combine flexibility with performance.
With the optional self-priming accessory, the AQT 35-12 can even draw water from a pond or a water butt, resulting in additional ecological savings. The AQT 35-12 is a good all-round tool to wash patios, driveways, fences, garden furniture and of course, cars.

What is the connector you have used on the tap? My garden hose keeps coming out of the tap.

That’s a standard quick-connector (commonly known by the brand name Hozelock, but you can use any)

Is the black pressure hose included with the set? or do I have to buy it separately?

It’s included with the set, but an extension pressure hose can also be purchased separately as an add-on accessory.

@@TicTechToe thanks for the reply, also I heard that the pressure hose easily gets damged when twisted or dragged, is there any way of wrapping it to increase its longevity? if so, do let me know how

That’s true, I’m on my third hose already. I’m not really sure if there’s any way you can wrap it. You’ll have to enquire with your service center. You might be able to purchase an aftermarket hose of better quality (many other brands of pressure washer including but not limited to Black&Decker use the same generic pressure hose) but that might not be covered under the warranty. If you handle the hose with care, it should last long enough. However, since this an outdoor appliance, it’s not all that easy.

So you can't use a water tank like the smaller version?

You can, indeed. But you’ll have to purchase a self-priming kit from Bosch (part number F016800421) that lets you draw water from non-continuous water sources like buckets or tanks, or even lower sources like ponds. Alternatively, you could use a gravity-fed water source like a water-butt.

I am unable to connect water pipe pipe. Should I buy separate pipe?

You probably don’t need a new pipe, but a quick-connect adapter like the one in the video. They commonly go by the brand name Hozelock, but off-brand ones should work just as well.

True. This is my second hose. Surprisingly, it's rated at a 130-bar maximum pressure.

It's is waist of money, one time motor got burn, I given for serving they told me to change motor I did it, motor costing me Rs. 4000 no warranty no guaranty, first time while I'm using after 10 minutes second motor burn

Despite the relatively high price(to a more reliable equivalent Kärcher model), you simply cannot ignore the fact that this one’s assembled in China.

It's not exactly a waste of money, only a Kärcher would be better value for money. The only reason I chose Bosch is because they have a power tools service centre in my city. And despite Kärcher having better plastic, Bosch seems to have a better motor with longer carbon brushes.

@@johny.pramanik57 That's nice to know. While mine has had its fair share of niggles, it's quite a competent tool on the whole. Part quality and reliability may be far from stellar, but it gets the job done. Also, I did not realise how time passes but it has been seven years with mine, so a few issues should be acceptable.

@@jobythomaskonni2228 The outer shell does get quite hot with continuous use. The higher-end models like the AQT 45-14X would be better suited to this job because of their water-cooled induction motors as compared to the air-cooled brushed motors this model uses.
