Online wise, I found you can buy them from their website fluke.com or from Amazon. If you are looking to buy it locally, stores like RAYBRO/CED & GrayBar should have a Fluke 87 Multimeter in stock. Have a good day. -J. from AVI
The only thing that i got from my dad after he passed away was his fluke 87 multimeter. My siblings took everything he had and didn't leave me with anything from him except for his multimeter and that's fine with me because this multimeter was closer to him than anything else he had in life. A multimeter is what he used every single day for most of his life and is what Is responsible for being a huge reason why I had a good childhood and lived in a nice house. We weren't rich or anything but my parents weren't broke either. So my brothers and sister can have all of that stuff it doesn't bother me because I have a piece of who my dad was and honestly a piece of him. I use it every day Evan though I don't know how to use it to its full potential which is why I'm here. I'm 33 years old and feel like I'm the last of a dying Breed because nobody wants to learn anything anymore especially a trade and I was always taught if you want something you work for it and sometimes If I came with half of the money for whatever it was I wanted and worked my ass off to get it my parents would bless me and pay the other half, so even though I had a good childhood I wasn't raised on a silver spoon and nothing was handed to me and I'm thankful for that because I know the value of the things I have and want.
Good evening, If you are starting out in the automotive field, I recommend the Fluke 87 or the Fluke 113. If you are strapped for cash, the Fluke 101 might be what you need, However, if you are still unsure, I found a short list of Fluke's 110 series here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zroPqlls1Wc.html . Of course, on our website, we have plenty of products to help you understand voltage drops, flukes, etc. Most of them were instructed by ASE certified technicians Dave Hobbs. Have a wonderful day -J.
