Again, great vid. I will be vacuuming my unit. However I won't be filling it with refrigerant until a few days later. Is it ok to vacuum it and charge it with refrigerant days apart?
@@culture12ny We normally don't do this,we're done with the vacuum we charge the Unit but if you are gonna leave your gauges in there because as soon as you take your gauges off air is gonna go inside so i don't think you're gonna leave your gauges for a couple of Days
@@paulohvac lastly, don't you have to take your gauges off anyway in order to fill it with refrigerant? Or, are you leaving them in and just connecting the yellow to the refrigerant and so on?

Hi, after replacing a suction line and liquid line service valve do you perform the vacuum with both valves open? If so, wouldn't the vacuum pump pull compressor oil out of the system? Thanks
Hi, I installed a new residential ac system. When vacuuming my pump is discharging a lot of air and my gauge barely moves from the zero mark. Does this means I have a big leak? Thanks
Yes, I agree; however, I noticed Paul showing only one core removal tool. Of course, 2 removal tools will allow you to have a less restricted flow therefore faster evacuation process.

I have a question, if I’m gonna disconnect my lines for roughly 10-15 min. Do I need to pull a vacuum again before opening back my valves with refrigerant?
air will get in the system, as soon you disconnected the line. But you lucky enough the system still running ( ok) but ! Not running good as before you open up the line.
