Awd didnt get slower, we just found out that Rwd could be faster with RCP track grip level. Still i prefer the complexity and coolness of Awd 1/28th racing. Hoping that class stays alive
Don’t toss the wheels, Just soak them in acetone! Reflex Wheels are safe for acetone.. don’t need them in there overnight, glue will come right off and whatever shot tire is left on there… Nice video!!
You should clean/degrease the tire bead first before glueing, with either rubbing alcohol or brake cleaner. Reason is to remove any traces of rubber release agent that is on the tire or any other contamination on the rubber. You then get a much better bond.
That's a great idea! I'll leave this comment here for everyone to see in case they're having problems with their tires peeling off. Personally, I haven't had any issue on the tires coming off or peeling off ever since I started using the extra thick glue but thanks for sharing that.
@@riveravisuals4763 I never use those kickers. I just wait until the glue dries up. I don’t use glue on sidewalls anymore unless I don’t have wheels with flange. If I don’t have wheels with flange, that’s when I glue the sidewalls to stiffen it for less sidewall flex = less bite. I don’t use glue on sidewalls to make the car understeer. I have seen some drivers uses glue on the outside corner edge of the tires to make the car not traction roll. I don’t do that. Just glue on the sidewall for less flex and this is only on full size tires. Low profile tires, I try to not put any glue on the sidewalls. So no glue on sidewalls if you have flange wheels (full or low profile tires). No glue on sidewalls when running low profile tires. Glue sidewalls (try half of the sidewall first before doing full sidewall glue) only on full size tires without flange wheels. This is on RR speed wheels and PN Delein flange and no flange wheels. Only wheels I run.
