I am trying to get in to this business and i watched your video and it's making me more interested and i was wondering if i can contact you by email i would really like to take full training
Hi my dream is to open a car wrap shop I have 0 experience I catch things so fast I don’t like online courses is there a way I can learn if you know someone in AZ I can work and get experience I would be appreciated
not as easy as yall think🤞🏽 takes practice and a few cars to actually perfect them & every car can be different .. remember alot of people add stuff to their cars such as body kits, spoilers... you also need to know proper parts to use knifeless tape for the seams .... its not very easy btw some materials are very hard to work with!!
@@AstekStreetMob it’s like that for everything g, don’t matter if it’s wrapping a car or riding a bike it ain’t gonna be good if you don’t learn first, nobody said it’s easy
I hate this video!! Makes it look simple and when I'm wrapping the inside of my car, its my whole life that im questioning... Thank you mate for making me sad 😂😂
I am just starting to look at getting into wrapping, and I can for sure say after this video it just makes me that much more ambitious in trying. Thank you for this and all the wrap job videos!
This video helped sooo much. I've been getting into the wrap business and plan on opening my own shop. The laying process is pretty self explanatory but I feel like no one shows you how to do corners and trim vinyl. Please keep making more videos like this
@@thealianwar Hey man, wanna gang up and try and find dude to answer our questions? You take IG and Snap and I'll take FB and google? Meet back here in 2 days.
Big advice with 3M Satin wraps is that you don't want to heat too much and pull the film or tack anywhere in the middle before pulling or you'll have glue dots under the wrap.
Im a beginner in this field. My father is teaching me what he knows about the Vinyl Wrap business. I helped him wrap a boat, and as a beginner it was extremely difficult. But I'm learning. The way you go into detail about the process is extremely helpful for me to learn the basics.
So I'm in the process of wrapping my 2018 WRX myself (I live in CO grew up in CA like 30 mins from where you guys are at) and these videos are def a huge help and really looking forward to more appreciate you Daniel
Man I want to thank you so much for your in depth video. I’ve never wrapped anything and after your video I felt completely confident that I could do it. I was able to wrap the whole roof and sides to my 2022 Bronco, I was able to get into the nook and crannies.
I've been looking at several of these types of videos, and this is the first one that actually addresses the tension and release points! Fantastic video!
No wrap experience and had so much difficulty with the fender on my '12 WRX and this guy just did it like it was nothing lol Definitely was amazing advice that I can use though to rewrap it, and finally complete the other fender also.
So I’ve watched probably too many videos trying to learn cuz ima wrap my first car in a few days and the way you explain things is freaking perfect. I was nervous but I’m feeling pretty confident now thank you!
@@jamieeyre4382 I’m waiting on my third order of vinyl but I’ve finally gotten the hang of it. I am only able to work on it on the weekends so it’s going slowly. It will be no where near professional but you can only see the mistakes if you go looking for them.
Lots of over stretch. And of course that would work when you take everything off. Skills is where you find a way to work around it when taking off certain unit means thousands of dollars of recalibration. Bad habit of relieve cut pointing towards a curve, that can turn an over stretched area to rip that relieve cut deeper into a corner. The correct way is to cut into a U shape away from the corner.
Dude this is the most descriptive best wrapping video I seen so far whoever out there making videos needs to watch this one first. Super informative, You literally make me feel confident in doing this based on your information
You really nailed this tutorial mate 👌🏼 very well spoken and extremely informative. I just have one question, what do you use to clean the panels before you lay the vinyl?
Same man… all I want to do is wrap the hood of my jet ski and in im frustrated bc it’s so hard and I can’t get it right…. and this guy makes it look too easy..
Dude I’ve been watching wrapping videos all shift and I can honestly say that your video is by far the best one I’ve come across and it’s a shorter video compared to the others and yet I feel like you’ve taught us a lot. I truly appreciate you taking the time to teach us for free, your work is amazing and I love how you take your time with it. I took several notes specifically revolving around “relieving tension, working on corner to corner, and letting the film sit/form where it wants to is KEY to a great job” I just subbed and I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Ps. I will wrap my e46 coupe soon and might start a channel for it with some friends. You gave me a good confidence boost so now I can go into it with some knowledge instead of being lost and confused. Ily man ✌️

Just finished wrapping the first part of my interior as my first wrap job. I have worked with sign/shirt vinyl for years and used some of the techniques you did here but messed up how the vinyl reacted to heat a few times. Wish I saw this video first as your explanation and examples were spot on.
I just got my first car a 2006 chrysler 300c and im looking into wraping it I'm going to make sure I study all of your wrapping videos so i really dont mess up!!
This is my first time hearing anything about “wrap” I honestly did not know it was a thing I’ve always wanted my car to be matte black and I thought that it could be spray painted. This makes so much more sense and I feel dumb lmao
Can’t say that I been watching you guys since you started but I have the last few years, you guys are awesome. Wrapped my 370z a few few weeks ago wasn’t perfect but it looks good thanks to videos like this. Keep it up guys 🤟🏼
Thanks so much for this video! I've been working with vinyl from the sign business since it first came out in the 80's but have never done a wrap and am fascinated by them. I found several of your techniques very helpful for conventional sign vinyl applications as well. You're attitude and drive are admirable, and I know you will do incredibly well!
also completely agree, you can watch all the vids you want but you need experience and to learn from mistakes to learn how the material works in diff situations
i realy like this kind of videos ! I try wrapping myself with the interior trim in my wrx 2020 and it was very fun. I'm interest in wrapping and its realy fun to do but i don't have money to spend in it right now because i have to pay the car first.. so learn how to do it is perfect for now before i start to spend in it.
Love this, I thought you would avoid stretching as much as possible, but it seems like you stretch more than other wrappers, why is this? Is this so you can get the material to shrink back into the corners?
More of these videos and your channel will blow up! People are looking for these kind of videos, not some patreon related B.S. cuz at the end of the day, you'll still get paid for our views and ad play.
I’ve been wrapping my interior for practice I do want to own a wrapping business in the future ans this seemed to help me with my struggle with the corners !
This was a very good video. If I may add a couple of points. I am a newbie, so I always look at different videos to find some help for my areas of problem, it would be great that the instructor put himself in that state of mind, be himself when he started, which problems did he face, address those or the ones you've heard from other people. In this video, I would have liked to see the proper use of squeegee, the angle, the direction, and how much pressure. It's a very nice video on corners, thank you.
Just bought the taillight pieces for my 2019 Nissan Titan with a felt tip squeegy I have never done any thing like this before but I have tinted windows and it seems similar!! Love your content if this goes well I might try to wrap my whole truck !!!!
Products?? What products do you use prior to laying down the wrap? Spray cleaners, bond sprays. Asking for a mate... lol..hahahaha Looking at tempting to wrap my car !
Great video and tips. I'm going to attempt to wrap my smart car next month. I'm using Avery wrap. I've wrapped my motorcycle and it turned out great, so I hope the car turns out great too. Your install tips help A LOT!
Was up guys. I’ve done some wrap on my car. But today I learn some new stuff. Just want to say. Thanks for your knowledge bro. Your good on what you do 👍🏻👊🏻🤙🏻🤟🏻🙌🏻💪🏼...... ✌🏻out
This is a very useful video we'd like to see, look into wrap my truck. Teach us more please, like Heat Gun vs Torch, different kinds of wrap and how they react differently, and how to work around those differences?
