Quick tip: you don't need to fill the holes manually after you convert your curves to mesh. While the objects are still curves, just check the "Fill Caps" option, and then convert to mesh. Done. Great tutorial by the way.
Badass tutorial. Even if someone knows how to model, listening to someone explain the steps helps because you might pick up tricks and shortcuts. Was worth the watch for sure.
For the JBL logo, you just need an SVG version of the logo. Then, you can extrude the curves using the curve extrusion settings and convert it to a mesh. It's much easier. (If you don't have an SVG version of the logo, you can convert it using any program or website.) and make sure that you turned on the import SVG addon.
ive been trying to learn blender for about half a year now and i find it so amazing how quick and easy you blender vets guy make blender seem, i would like to be in that position one day is one day
You can add a transparent image as plane into blender instead of modeling a logo. This thing is useful for lot of senarios. I even design things in graphic design software and input svg file straight into blender works fine.
I usualy use inkscape(free) to trace bitmaps of jpg of the logo to create svg of the logo and bring it to blender than use quad remesher(paid) modifier you can use blenders built in remesher too. takes around a minute to make logos and its pretty accurate.
So glad I found your channel, learning so much. As someone who has only recently started to learn blender I have no idea how pricing works. Would love a video on that.
"i'm balkan this is how we operate, he's french so he's more civilized" hahaha bro i love your tutorials and humor, a real gem in the blender community
Excellent. Really enjoyed that. Great pace. Great end result. Really good methods. Nice and accurate. Enjoyed your delivery style too. Made a refreshing change. Keep up the good work.
A lot of good modeling tips in this video, thanks for sharing! Worth keeping in mind that if you were contracted by a company like JBL they would most likely provide you with .STEP files of the model which you could then import into Blender by converting into an .FBX file by using CAD software such as Moi3D, Fusion 360 etc. So wouldn't need to model the product yourself, but still definitely worth knowing these modeling techniques.
O cara voa alto no blender.
For the logo... open image in Illustrator... then auto trace it... (Image needs to be high enough res or you'll get a bad trace). Then import the vectors as an eps into Blender. takes 2 mins. Pretty sure free illustrator clones can trace vectors too.
Hey Bro, usually when I watch a video on RU-vid and the creator says to hit the like button, I don't really care. But this time, I held onto the video just to come and give it a like
Awesome video. Strait too the point. Would love to see a video of how to get your stuff out their to get the clients / companys on board. You got a follow 👍
Amazing video, thank you so much. The best things for me was to band logo on the surface 🥰 I would like to see how you can animate this product if possible. 🙏🤝
coming from a graphic design background i woulda done the JBL logo in illustrator and just export the SVG. Logo is simple enough that it probably wont leave artifacts and if it does they are easy to fix
"Ja sam balkanac i mi smo divlji, a on je Francuz pa je civilizovaniji" 😂😂 Brate pobedio si. Jedan si od mojih omiljenih blender kontent kreatora. 😂😂 Pozdrav iz 🇷🇸
I have a problem, I added an image texture like you did to the bottons for the power logo. But my image has transparency, and when I added it on the face it deletes the back of the face in my model
kind of a dumb question but I was wondering how is it that you make money with these blends? I mean their amazing quality an all but I just was curious to what it is you do to make the money??
"Shut the "F" up and make your damn tanks!" 😂 I´m just kidding. I just wanna tell you, Aryan how grateful I am for all the things you have taught me in Blender. "You are the greatest!" Greetings from Sweden
@aryan3d Many thanks to you, I've been following your channel for a while now. very useful information on modeling and texturing. could you also make videos focusing on lighting and rendering for best results when visualizing products?
Man i like your tutorial, but its a request please upload the video in normal speed. Its too hard to understand, a lot shortcuts and tricks get missed because of the fast phase.
My RU-vid channel is paying off very well so I worked out ways that allow me to produce as much as possible as quickly as possible. Just a lot of repetition makes me fast.
Hello, my name is Meherrem Qarayev and I am a student. I am learning blender and I saw your ebook and courses. I don't work and my family can't afford to give me that money. That's why I wrote to you. If possible, could you send me your ebook or course?
15:27 so u expect that we will give u a hardworking method nah we got more lazier man just take the logo picture and render as svg then import it to blender
Title has nothing to do with the content. Are you in your first month of a hard surface modeling course, bro? Someone told you you can make money off this, but not how yet. So you upload your first hard surface project instead lol
