This kind of in-depth, rapid fire format is really great for the intermediate/advanced user who already knows how to use Blender and understands modeling, but wants to learn more about the process itself. Thanks.
i never saw anyone using ctrl+shift to select edges-faces that way. wow.. I have spent so many time selecting edges with other way, when I could just select them just in a couple seconds that way. Your pace is probably fast for some people, but that does really help to learn way to work faster too. Thank so much for your videos!!
You could also bevel the vertex in that position and play with the shape value to get a circle. Only works if the surrounding area is squarish though, so should work for this tutorial too
Polygonal modeling is a highly skilled art. I typically use Rhino as my primary modeling software, so I don't have to worry about curvature, fillets, and booleans. However, watching you solve polygonal-specific problems on the fly is truly inspiring.
You are a Blender wizard without a doubt. Thanks for this bro, there is so many tips and tricks in this video I will be watching it for the next 3 months lol.
@@beyaz2376to be honest he is teaching some techniques that the biggest channels of hard surface modeling doesn't show . I support him keep going blender tate boy
Hi sir, I'm just now finding your channel, and absolutely love your tutorials. I'll be subbing to your patreon when I can afford it. Having soem serious medical issues that limit my spending right now. I did notice that you don't seem to have the "Extra Objects" addon installed. It has a bunch of new meshes, namely a quad sphere. I seem to recall watching a video where you took a regular cube and went through a process to get essentially the same thing, so I thought I would poitn that out. Thanks again for everything you do.
If you mean the Shift + S 3D cursor menu, i don't know. When I use a laptop, it's like this. on PC it's a pie menu. I wish I could get the pie menu back.
Hello bro I want to get your e book but I am a student so can't get it. Can I have some discount on it? Btw your way of modelling complex shapes is just awesome 👍
Aryan, I've lost motivation and interest to 3D, due to the fact that AI might take over and companies/Game Studio won't need to hire 3D modellers. I was gonna pursue going to Uni for 3 years to study Games Development while focusing on 3D modelling, but in these 3 years AI might get better at 3D modelling. Could you please make an updated video on AI taking over the creative Industry, where even a non skilled artist/3D modeller could use a prompt website to make models or art pieces. Thank you
When ai is able to do this properly, almost every job can be done by it. As @jellygrass777 mentioned, this will take another 15+ years. And maybe human made will get some kind of trademark
@jellygrass777 I don't think so, look how image generation and even video generation has gotten good in such a short time, there's already webistes being made that can take a 2d pic and make it into a 3D model. It will get better to the point where we won't be needed and it's going sooner then we think.
@Greannn I doubt it, look at ai imagery already being used in game studios and even cgi/animation studios, there won't be any trademarks, there's already websites out that can take a 2d pic and turn it into a 3d model. It won't take 15 years for it to get extremely good. At max 3-5 years, if not less.
@@ArijanRace I am college student who used to enjoy doing some 3d stuff as a hobby. Would it be worth it to start freelance as a part time job or would it only be stressful and exhausting instead? I am just worried that it would be annoying to deal with clients, especially when I am not really the best academic weapon, this would stress me even more.
Nohow! When I was a 3D modeller I even couldn’t find orders to make it for free. I quit this market after 20 years of working in 3D software. Too many 3D artists and 3D modellers and too little demand for such services unless you are already famous 3D/VFX artist. But I still miss Houdini, the best software I’ve ever met. Blender is a joke comparing to Houdini.
Finishing this tutorial, just to notice it's not exactly what was shown at the beginning is a different form of heart break. 😂 But at least now I've learnt like 7 new techniques watching this video. Thanks Arijan 🫡🔥
