Well.. I've already watched so many videos on youtube about that "waking up early" thing!! So some of those things i knew. But you said that winner feeling helps so we should set small goals. And if i wake up at 9 then should try waking up at 7 and then i will sleep early.. i guess these are going to help me. So thanks in advance!💜
Interesting video, I like the suggestion of planning things in the morning. Since the pandemic, when my family asks me why I don't get up earlier, my response has always been: "Because I literally have no reason to." I used to have a really busy schedule before covid and since that's gone for the moment, so has my motivation. When I'm not at work I get so lazy, half the day goes before I do a thing. Better start trying harder.
Same. However my class starts 7:45 and i have to be there by 7:00, because im 2 hours early everyday i unlock the classroom at 6:00 - 6:30 and get attendance etc.

Am I the only one who’s never ever woken up feeling refreshed/rested? I’m not talking about feeling ‘just’ groggy or miserable, those are things one can deal with but I’m talking about a true inability to wake up, feeling like you just fell asleep and you are being awakened, there is no natural wake up time either, you can keep sleeping no matter what. Health care is a luxury in my life, so I’m only looking for other sufferers. Thanks
sorry for a EXTREMELY late reply but yeah, i totally have this problem too. along with everything you stated, i have very dry eyes that are super foggy for like 15 minutes and uncomfortable to even blink with. Also for my first 30 or so minutes of waking up, i am very dizzy; combine that with the eye problem and i have a nightmare of a time doing anything in the morning.
Almost same! I can wake up naturally but even if I sleep early it’s generally later like close to lunch time. I also have really bad acid reflux when I wake up before 8 am
as a person with ADHD, my circadian rhythm is completely off, by a couple hours, so it's really a job to wake up early. even when I wake up early, I have the tendency to stay up until 1-2 am
I also have adhd and the whole internal clock stuff is the most annoying thing. I try to explain to people all the time, but they’re like, “pshh everyone’s like that. Just put your phone down.” I could sit in pure darkness and still lay awake ‘til 1 am a lot of nights. As a little kid, I somehow would manage to wake upunprompted at 6am everyday. I’m trying to get back to that by going to bed earlier (with a little help from melatonin of course) but I keep on waking up at 3am instead. it’s awful. This morning I woke up at 3 am and then again at like 4:40 and THEN my alarm went off 20 minutes later
I get so anxious for all the work in the day but equally get annoyed when I wake up a bit too late. I think waking up early enough will truly help me feel a lot better and help me have more time later on. Thank you so much!

I watched almost all of Maya’s morning routines and I can proudly say that I can wake up at 5:30 every morning. And my mornings have been productive for me. I get so much work done. I really like how you put Bible verses on the wall with sticky notes. It's a great idea that I want to try to keep me motivated and also possibly memorize more scripture!
i usually go to sleep around 2 or 3am, and i wake up around noon, but i'm super tired so i go back to sleep and i can sleep until 4 or 5. it's really unhealthy and i don't know why i'm sleeping like 14 hours, but i feel miserable when i wake up and i'm really guilty. i've also noticed a loss in appetite, so i'm not sure if it's related 😅
Maybe you have depression. I also have that same problem. Maybe you could go to psychiatrist or therapist or doctor to check your problems. I hope you are doing well. Keep fighting I always support you! 👍❤

My best tip when you're starting out is to treat yourself to a beverage that you'll extra look forward to rolling out of bed for. Not just your average coffee, maybe fancier coffee, or a really enticing pre-workout mix. This strategy worked really well for me, and eventually I didn't even need the incentive anymore.
No matter if I go to bed early or not, I cannot for the life of me wake up this early. School life has proven as much. If more than 14 years couldn't get me used to it, then nothing can... believe me, I tried, but I'm a night owl through and through. Not to mention when I wake up in the early morning I always ALWAYS end up feeling so extremely sleepy in the evening (around 4~6pm) that I can't even remain awake and absolutely *have* to take a nap if I don't wanna collapse from sleepiness. It's extremely annoying to deal with, I hate it (especially because taking naps always give me horrible headaches too no matter what). However, if I wake up around 10~11am I can manage to remain awake and alert throughout the entire day and even most of the night, if I so wish. 🤷
After struggling from a bad breakup, losing a job, and being bullied by some girls I thought were my friends, I haven't been very productive or even found a reason to be motivated. You have really helped me find my priorities and be more motivated. I am now closer to God, feel happy in God and being single, and more motivated to do school. You are my hero. Love you

For me, exercising in the morning is a big no, I'm really clumsy in the mornings, until my brain properly wakes up, so I would just hurt myself. :D But going to the gym in the evenings makes me really tired so I fall asleep more easily. What I struggle with is the fact, that my circadian rhythm is longer than 24 hours so it's hard to keep regular sleep schedule naturally. :(

Can you read minds? I thought about waking up early tomorrow to watch the sunrise instead of sleeping in! 👀 Well, probably it still will be only 6:45 but its early enough during holidays 😂. Also, I planned on meditating so I should be quite awake otherwise I'd fall asleep right away again 😅
I get up around 5am at least 2 days a week. The rest of the week at 7am. I have adapted to the two different times. I believe the best tip you provided was about knowing your body. Once you figure out how much time you need to sleep, you can adjust for your target goal. The other tips were very helpful as well. Thanks for sharing 😎👍
Honestly I am night owl, but I am night owl due to my own anxiety that revolves around school. I actually love waking up in the morning to a quiet setting! I am going to use these tips to wake up earlier since my classes start at 7:30am this semester😭

This is going to really help me get into a schedule as a teenager I've always found it hard to get into a sleep schedule, I go to bed at usually 2-4am and wake up at 1pm which really isn't going to be officiant since I'm going back to school next week so this is going to really help me! Something that really helped me from feeling overwhelmed and rushed in the morning was just taking a 15 minute break in bed. Once it's up I start my day.
I don’t usually get in from work until 6:30pm which gives me so little of the evening once I’ve eaten and showered - but I definitely need to prioritise an early night as I struggle with mornings sooo much (I’m writing this at 11:30pm in the uk haha)

What I do (online school) is my morning routine, then I sit at my desk and get ready for school. Anyway, I have a tip for ppl who do online work/school. Never do school in bed and never sit on your phone on your desk. Always do your work on your desk because your body is used to doing work on your desk. If you do both work and chill out on your phone on your desk, your brain will think your desk is a place to hang out instead of a place to work.

Actually, working out 2-3 hours before you go to sleep can help you get to sleep faster, instead of the morning… at least, that’s what I found from several different sources and it works for me

2:44 listen i have add this feature on my ipad (cuz thats what i use at nught ) for a long time but ive made discord friends 3 hours behind me causing me to “disable time limit for today“ every night it turns on so i can continue on vc with my friends ... But i do end up sleeping shortly after bc i get bored bc im tired and when im tired MY SPELLING AND TYPING IS INSANELY BAD like no one can read it like when i was stalking him on tiktok i was screen sharing and typing a paragraph bc i didnt wanna send it and him see so i had to keep telling my friends whatvi was trying to write

I had a habbit of waking up at sharp 3:01 am in 2023 , unfortunately I lost that habbit in 2024 Feb , it's too hard to get that habbit back .....but it was hard to wake up early tho

What do you do if you have night anxiety?? We had some drunk ( and possibly something else too) dude ripped our mailbox off our house and was talking to himself and banging on the house at 2 at night one time. He meant no harm and had no weapon but he opened our unlocked window and started climbing into the house. Thankfully the cops came fast. Ever since this happened, I’ve hard nighttime anxiety and now it’s not even about that. I get anxiety about everything now but it started then. Any tips on how to sleep early when in bad habits and anxiety?
