How to Walk in Heels & Stilettos =P 

I taught myself to walk in heels by wearing super high heeled cowboy boots (lot's of structure and support and I didn't mind killing them) and stomping around the woods and fields around my house for a few hours. after figuring out how to balance on uneven squishy and rocky ground, walking on flat surfaces is a dream now and I've yet to find a heel I can't walk in.

Always take sandpaper, and scuff the bottom of a stiletto shoe. That way they won't slip on a slippery floor. Its VERY good advice, trust me.

I used to wear heels all the time but I got a different job so I stopped wearing them for about a year. I recently rediscovered my favorite 5 inchers...and after watching this video it all came back to me! Thanks so much. I'm going to wear these bad boys out tonight!

Do NOT forget: The placement of your heel is vital for the comfort and the balance.

Skip to 4:15-6:05 if you want to actually hear about walking in heels and not just her jabbering. Or you could take my advice on how to walk in heels: -start with a smaller heel or a wedge and work your way up. -always have your knees at a slight BENT unless you want to experience discomfort -take SMALL paces, you will always be slower walking heels. taking large strides will put uncomfortable pressure on your knees. -make sure your feet actually fit in the shoe. if you are going to be wearing heels for a long time, consider investing foot inserts. some people experience blisters on the back of the ankle, some at the ball of the foot, etc. it usually depends on the shoe so make sure you really practice in them beforehand. -consider stashing a pair of flats in your bag if you don't think you can wear them for the entire duration. -hair spraying the inside sole of the shoe will make your foot stick to the shoe. this is how celebs wear their heels so they don't come off. -practice before first on carpet but then on a slippery surface. whenever i needed to wear heels it was usually a formal function with a slick floor (i.e. ballroom, hotel lobby) feel free to ask me questions.

I just started with 6" stilettos and walked toward a full length mirror for like 20 minutes. When you learn in a 6" in heel, well, you'll know how to walk in any heel after. It's like learning in a stick shift first, you'll be able to drive anything and everything after a stick shift.

I've kind of given up on wearing high heels bc I'm 5'11". Every time I wear something with a 2+ inch heel I get nothing but comments on my height. Like "You're already tall, that's not fair. You don't need to wear those." Or "how's the weather up there?" and "I just wanna cut you off at the knees." No comments about the effort I'm putting into my look by walking in the things, no comments on how cute the shoes are, just "giant" remarks; I hate it.

I love walking in high heels. I don't care if its bad for my feet.

I use to were heels when I was like 18 and 19 then I stopped because I wasn't going anywhere the needed heels, now I Want to wear them again and I have to retrain my feet thanks for this this explains why my fav shoes are sitting on my shoe rack.

I skipped all of those steps and began in stilletos and learned on my own by stepping on my toes and not on the he first :I I currently can run and jump in stilletos heels and I am comfortable to wear them for 3-5 hours xD

4:53 Found this by looking up "How do people walk in stilettos?" because on EBay, there was these shockingly cute thigh high black boots decorated with small gems that made it look like a starry night sky. Problem was, the heel was thin. That was when i found this video. I was not expecting it to be such a fun person instructing on how to walk in them scary heels! A pleasant surprise I much enjoyed . :D

1.18 This size heel is actually good for your back. Higher or lower is not a good idea if you have a dodgy spine/posture.

when I wear high heels, even if I walk the right way, the soles of my feet hurt too much afterwards, they feel like burning. also, I like to walk quickly, and it's really difficult to walk fast and put the heel down first. It looks silly to make small and quck steps, and if I make big steps, I'm afraid that I might walk into an uneven pavement and strain my leg. What I do, is walking fast, with big steps, putting the whole foot down at the same moment. My boyfriend said I don't look good in them, because when I wear heels I bounce too much. Also, I find it really difficult to find heels with soft soles, or heels with straps that don't leave red marks on my feet. Is it impossible to find good shoes under 100 euro? Is it the shoes that are wrong or my feet that are too sensitive? If I wear high heels and gradually increase the height of the heel, will I ever be able to wear stilettos? those medium height wedges shown in the video still make my feet sore. pointy kitten heels make my toes shore. the only thing my feet tolerates is ankle length boots with medium chunky heel. My feet have a lot of muscle for a woman, because I exercise a lot, but also I am overweight for about 10-12 kg. Does this make it impossible to hear high heels? And when I try on heels,if I like them, Ican walk in them, but they feel uncomfortable, should i buy them? Is there a chance to break them in? And what details should I take into accound to discern if a heel is of qood quality or not?Wendy, if you see this, tell me your suggestions, as well as anyone who might know.

I have 4 days to learn how to walk in high heels, but they have a big heel platform so I think I'm good. This really helped!

I'm a crossdresser and I find it difficult to walk in any high heels, high or lower! They keep slipping off my feet. Okay, so I wear a size below, but then they're too tight on the toes. I can't win. :(

Take it from someone that is older and has had some life experience. I shoe is not going to give you sex appeal. You either have it or you don't and if you don't, it's more a matter of just getting in touch with the sexiness that's inside you. High heels can cause so many problems not only for your feet but for your whole body. You won't look very sexy when you're in excruciating pain after the heels have done a number on you. Of course, you don't have to take my advice but if you are reading this, all I would say to you is, "you are already sexy. Just get in touch with that and work it. Feel beautiful and sexy and be the woman that you are."

LOL! This is way too much work to wear some effing shoes. I'll stick to normal human shoes. Men would never torture themselves for us the way we do for them.

I dont recomend to walk in high heels like that, One step wrong and your foot can be destroyed. My tip is toe to heel (i did not look up on youtube about this, not google, or anything else. Learned this the hard way :P)
