Dude, you can definitely machine wash a J68-pl with no worrying. Machine washing does no harm to either the PES Acr WS material (Outer) nor the Primaloft, at all. Both of the material can survive years of wash. That's one of acronym's material choice philosophy-- made to last. I recommend everyone to wash your acr (synthetic fabrics) immediately after you spot any sweat stain or dirt, bc in the end of the day, washing will not damage your shell: not washing is what damaged it. The sweats and the stains remained will gradually damaged your shells leading to common problems like black stains on the inner layer of GT Pro shell, performance decline, worstly delamination.
You'll be just fine machine washing your J68-PL with Tech wash (Nikwax or Grangers Performance wash) at the temp it says on the label. You won't even need the down wash or balls, because it's not Down, but Primaloft insulation. You can use a washing bag though to minimalise the abrassion of the washing machine (I do). Cheers!
I wanna rub one out with dawn dish soap 😩👌 (A stain of course lolol) Ps, not everyone will be like me but I like my jackets and stuff to feel really crisp, so after the machine or hand washing just put it on a drying rack and leave it outside for a few hours. If it had any funky smell, it will be gone and also it helps to get rid of the perfumes from the detergent so it smells neutral (but still fresh) your clothes will last forever doing the drying rack method. It will even work in winter
