How to wash the filters on your Dyson V11™ or V15™ cord-free vacuum with the LED screen.

I did two things to make mine dry a LOT faster. 1. I used compressed air (gingerly!) to blow from the inside out (so as to push out not only the water, but also any remaining dirt). A HUGE amount of water went onto the floor. 2. I put the filter in a sunny area. I avoided direct sun outdoors, but I did not put it in a closet with the door closed. It was dry in a few hours. If you don't have compressed air, perhaps you can use the output of a canister vacuum (i.e., the "blow" output port rather than the usual vacuum input).

I love the v11 animal. I first boughtt it about a year ago. It started leaving dust streaks and the message was there was something clogged. I checked everything and found no clog. I brought it to a vacuum repair place and the guy gave it a thorough cleaning and I brought it home and the same thing happened. The repair person said he found nothing wrong. There isn't a Dyson certified repair shop near where I live. I was lucky enough to have purchased it at Costco. They have an extremely liberal return policy. I returned it to Costco, no questions asked. And then I went online to Costco and bought another one, which happened to be $100 cheaper than the first because it was on sale. Hopefully my new one will last far longer than the first one. I really do love it. I have three cats, and the vacuum does great on cat fur, which is what it is intended for, animal fur. If this second one also breaks down, I believe I'll have to say adios to Dyson and look for another company. Hopefully that doesn't happen.

I loves dyson but filter takes forever to dry . Have v11 animal love it but get replacement filters I went into buying it knowing filter problems but the clean is great

What a disappointment, when will you have the HEPA filter for the Dyson v11 outside back in stock? It's been too freaking months.

Took 3 days for mine to dry... NOT 24 hours...

If particles stuck in the outside of the filter, shouldn’t you run water from the inside out so you don’t drive particles further into the filter? I love this thing. Last one finally died after 5 years.

It's raining!! How can I dry my filter faster?

Dyson: I suggest you use a 'dirtier' filter in these demonstration videos. The one appearing here appears 'like new', this is not realistic. Most customers, like me, probably never knows to wash it monthly or simply fail to comply. Your instruction video shows us to tap it above a trash can. Isn't this going to cause the dusts to fly into the immediate air around the user? Please re-do these demon. videos.
