When I bought my toupee they told me to take it off when I wash it and also change the double tape afterwards. They also said there was a costumer who washed it while wearing it and her scalp became red and painful afterwards. What's your thoughts on it (not my grammar pliz)?
I find it very hard to believe that you can run hot, or even luke warm water over your head with this thing on and it wouldn't seriously affect the adhesive.
