Hey! Rory here, Just wanted to put some context in here for people. I had a massive severe head injury skateboarding and had to learn to walk and talk again 7 years ago, so please keep that in mind, I have skated my whole life and i love it dearly, which is why I'm so passionate about skate-park maintenance , You can see a video on my channel at the same park extension when it opened for context if that helps, I'm almost 40 and wont be jumping any fences for safety mostly. I hope that helps explain my impassioned rant! Much Love
Can relate, we have this massive bowl with all these extensions and a couple super steep launch ramps with impossible rails. The bowl is actually really nice but you have to be a really good transition skater to enjoy it, which no one I have ever seen at the park is. One thing I will say is the surface is perfect throughout but the only thing that gets skated is a manny pad, a small ledge, and a flat bar that someone brought. I don't know what they spent on it but if that extension cost $250,000 this park has be a million plus.
