The progression is seriously impressive! I'm a 90's skater, still skate today, but it took me a year just to ollie! I wasn't doing stairs and gaps until year 2! This is awesome bro, great skating
I thought the title was gonna be clickbait, but I'm super impressed. One year?! Dude it took me nearly 3 years before I got tre flips consistently. You've got some serious drive man. Don't do what a lot of us did and give up skating once you hit adulthood. So long as it brings you joy, keep pushing.
I skated for maybe one year and stopped because there were no skateparks or people who skated nearby, and not really supported by family either, kinda wanna start again :(
@@Pressureflop78 I figured lol. It was just a joke. In all reality you rip and learned tricks I never thought possible your first year. Made me want to go skate today…. And I think I will
What I love about this is seeing how much more comfortable you are on your board. The tricks are sick, but seeing your style grow has got to be my favorite thing. I’m not really a skater, I’ve learned a few tricks here and there but nothing too crazy, but I’ve been snowboarding for 14 years. What I can honestly say, is style and how comfortable you are riding goes a long ways for any board sport. You could do a crazy trick that’s landed sketchy or a simple trick done smooth and people would be more impressed by the smooth trick. So it’s really awesome to see how far your styles come from only 1 year of riding. That’s some insanely fast progression and as you get older and your physical performance gets stronger, you’ll only progress faster. Great work man keep it up, I subbed so I could watch more progression in the future
This is killer man, I love that you can see after 6 months you start to get SIGNIFICANTLY more comfortable and confident on the board and it makes your tricks look alot cleaner. Keep it up man.
Man skating progression is one of the most exciting things to feel as a kid man I can feel the excitement he felt while doing new stuff nothing quite like it
Gonna start skating again after a 2 year break, could never get past the Ollie phase but watching this made me realize that with patience, time and practice that I could get past that and improve, love the vid bro!
Dude , this is impressive , I'm 35 I don't skate anymore , but love for skateboarding will never ends, I'm genuinely impressed to see how your confidence raise and how cleaner your tricks get , one year is a very short period of time to learn all the tricks you show in this video, keep it up my dude because you're a true talent and of course a gifted skater, no much people rrach to have such a big bag of tricks in this short time , you probably have a future in skateboarding. Keep it up bro , can't wait for the 2 years progression video. Greetings from Italy.
Dude this was so rad to watch. Keep pushing, brother. I’m 26 and wish I kept it up consistently. I can’t do half the gnarly stuff you’re doing. Love the half cab heel something about that trick I love. Keep it up man
I skated in the late 80s as an adolescent and stopped in 91. Never did my love for skateboarding die, but I got involved in drugs and gangs. I stopped mainly because no one to skate with , not much family support and strict curfew and not being able to go out and seek others and places to skate. Also skateboarding was on its way out ………right before it blew up again with street skating but it was too late for me , started gang banging and noticing more and more skaters starting to resurface out of the wood works , saw the boards change the riders change the music change the graphics change but still respected and loved it . Always brought me back to my more innocent times. I just bought a board 2 days ago and am asking my youngest son ( 17.5 years old ) to skate with me 😂he said ok and we just hit up some parking lot. I think I’m going to start skating again and your video is an inspiration to so many watching. 👍 never do drugs , always do the right thing , know Jesus , and don’t stop skating lil homie.
ayy rhats awesome that you and your son are getting back into skating i’m happy to hear that! i’m just staying focused on skating at rhats it right now, also school of course
it took me a year to actually land a decent ollie but you did more than that.. As a grown ass man relearning how to skate again I give you props kid you learn fast. I get so hyped seeing you try and land these tricks.
This progression is awesome, I just started sbing 3 days ago and I’m still not used to the board yet…watching this made me super motivated to do better, nearly lost hope so fast lol
pop shuv on day two is actually crazy. been skating on and off for a few years and practicing consistently for a few weeks now and can barely do that stuff. insane progress good stuff bro
i love how u can slowly see the confidence growing man was very stiff in his first months then all of a sudden you can tell he started getting alot more comfy with it. keep pushing man
good job bro dont stop. ur gonna thank urself 10 years from now! ur learning stuff that took me years to learn when i was growing up. keep being great bro, i been skating for 15 years now and its impacted my life is a very positive way
I just got back into skating after not doing it for 3 years, this video inspired me because it shows a kid putting so much dedication into something I love, and I myslef put 1-2 hours a day into skating on weekdays after school so its pretty neat. Keep up the goodwork man
Iam 23 years old, did skateboarding for a couple of years when i was 12 and now i really wanna get back into it but thought its too late. I wont be as efficient as you i guess, but you showed me what is possible in 1 year (and beyond). Thank you! I'll join the progression
Yoo this is sick. Only legends progress at this rate. Keep posting and I’ll keep supporting!! Btw that was not a rock n roll. That was a rock to fakie. I subbed!!
Dude this is crazy progress and you're amazing on the board. I live in Pakistan and the skateboarding community here is really small and there aren't many girls here who skate so it's kinda hard for me to go out and skate cuz it makes me nervous, but after watching this video, im really excited to give skateboarding a shot. I regret not going skateboarding with my friends back in New Zealand, but I guess it's never too late to start!
Watching first timers learn shit is always refreshing. After a stint in the Marines and a few injuries in and out of that, I’m loosely relearning shit at 28. But knowing the technique and relearning the motions is a lot different than learning both for the first time. Good shit man 🤘🏼
Amazing seeing him get more and more comfortable with the board and slowly starts getting more into the street style of clothing with it too haha! Awesome man, good job on the helmet too!
dude, this is amazing, keep it going! I've been skating for 3 months and learned how to ollie only a couple of weeks later. But you are the natural monster-skater
You are a natural! My progression was very similar. Once I landed my first flip trick, the learning progression just exploded and got a lot of new tricks in a short amount of time. My favorite part of this is seeing your style mature as you get more confident on the board. Give it another year or two, and your style will be really solid 👍
bro, keep up the great work. you gonna be a pressure flip legend one day. do different kind of pressure flips into and off or out of anything u can think of :) lol. good first year man
Good stuff little dude. I used to skate back in the late 90’s early 00’s I dont any more but I rip from time to time. I’m currently trying to teach my daughter. I hope she learns as fast as you kid. Keep up the good work young brother ✌🏾
gawd damn that’s some good ass progression!! I’m so much slower of a learner and in my 13th month and barely landed my first fakie heel lol thats def worth a sub
bro... he way too good at tricks. at first I was like ohhh okay so straight to kickflips. but on month 4 doin pressure flips.... that is js mind blowing bruh. ive been skating for only 1 month. all i can do are shovits and, ollies. very nice bro.
you are a Natural... Took me about two months to learn kickflips, but trust me, they were ass. Forward til today, I still don't have them consistently. After KIckflips my progression started slowing down. Keep up the good work, You're awesome!
my friend and i just got back into skating. were dropping ledges, almsot able to drop in, doing 50/50's and can ollie decently just not moving yet. were havin the time of our lives.
Wow, that is very impressive. I never really made it past the ollie when i was 16. With a gap of 16 years in between of not skating at all, i restarted to skate and got some high dropins down but that was it. Great progression, keep going.
Lol I only ever learned about 3 flips & nollie heels, v heels & I skated for like, 5 years off and on back then. This is the best progression I’ve ever seen.
do you film every time you skate like in your garage or something? for me i find sometimes it gives me more motivation to be able to look back on the footage and see how i improve even if im not doing new tricks
