In today's video, I'll bet taking a look at how much filler was in the original Dragon Ball anime.
Note, this video is a remastered version of a former DB Filler Guide.
The remastering was done to ensure that this video will not be removed by a company claiming that I use their footage.

0:25 Not internationally, just in USA by Viz Media. In Spain, Argentina and some others counties the manga is just Dragon Ball.

Can you not watch any movies as a replacement to any part of the series. Isnt the first DB movie a remake of series 1 where goku and bulma are collecting the dragonballs?

It´s an alternate reality with some events playing different than in the main series. The three original Dragon Ball movies are alternate tellings of the first arcs when Goku was a little boy. One weird experiment you can do is watch the first three DB movies then go straight to episode 133 of the original Dragon Ball which is the first episode that features grown up Goku. Finish the series and go straight to DBZ Kai and you pretty much have the experience of watching Dragon Ball while skipping the tedious parts.

the screenplay of dragon ball is extremely slow like 5 seconds of same frame with no sound or dialogue nothing happening its really frustrating at times
