Waterbath canning milk is so easy it'll surprise you! I use fresh raw cows milk and skim the cream off before I go through the canning process but you can also use store bought milk.
Disclaimer: This is considered a "Rebel Canning" recipe and following it is totally a choice you as a individual will make. However my family has been canning milk this way for well over a decade and this recipe was passed down from a family friend that one might call an "Old Timer" and these old recipes are cherished in our family here @ourcountryfarmhouse

I would like to know your opinion on something. I'm new to water bath canning, so I can use all the advice I can get! I would really like to can some New England style seafood chowder. Like all chowders, this has a base of potatoes with milk, half and half, or cream added for a cream-style soup. I found one RU-vidr making a clam chowder base and she made the comment that she fills the jars partially with clam juice topped off with water because "any milk, or cream would curdle if you attempted to can it". I've posted on several different Rebel canning Facebook pages and so far only one person has suggested to me to water bath canning seafood, you need to do it for 4 hours instead of 3 as you would for meat. What are your thoughts on this?

Good morning. I am doing a lot of research so I can can my raw goats milk safely. Have you ever water bath canned raw milk with full fat. I read that using fresh milk is best but goat milk does not separate for several days. Also I have pressure canned it and didn’t like the outcome. Ended up making caramel with that. My concern of course is botulism from having the fat. Others have canned raw but separated the cream. What are your thoughts?

Yess my ki d of canni g.. i do not own a pressure canner. I ve tryed butter my garden veggies tomato sauces and raw packed meat.. Live in northern manitoba, out in the bush..lots of empty space here! Hope you have a blessed day❤

This is what I use for spraying my jars to clean them. It’s a concentrate natural cleaner that I mix up. I love this natural cleaner I use it to mop my wooden floors, as an all purpose spray for cleaning kitchen countertops, with a bit of baking soda for dishwasher detergent, disinfecting my milk pail, etc. A little bit goes a long way!
