Great video! Here are some things I tend to do: 1. I ALWAYS wear a pocket square if I don’t have a tie on. Also, I don’t necessarily care about its pattern because I don’t have to worry about it clashing with my tie. 2. I usually wear a sports shirt (buttons on the collar). It gives me the opportunity to wear these style of shirts because I never wear them with ties. 3. Western-Style boots look good with a blazer with no tie. If possible, have the matching belt!
Collar Collapse is an issue. I learned the hard way. There are a couple of products out there to solve this. Thanks for mentioning one of them. I also learned I could order custom made shirts with additional placket cloth to prevent this. I also like both button down and hidden button down collars.

My brother my 2 cents...wearing a band collar shirt with a sports jacket is a nice change of pace...for example a dinner date..tickets to a Broadway play...4 casual Friday on your job...go for it my brother..peace
Lol nice. I’ve been looking for a few blazers to add to my wardrobe. Problem is: I’m in Miami and man it’s hot as hell down here about 360 days a year. Still, it’ll definitely add a little something special to the look. P.S. IM BUYING ALL THE SLICK COLLARS BOYS…. ALL OF ‘EM!
You can wear no tie even in a meeting with president- if you are mob boss, or billionaire. It shows who is the real daddy, it is just power move. Good evening tigernotwoods914....put that tie on...brother if you are invited to a summer wedding casual attire no brother...but since we are in the fall season a tie is required..if not try wearing turtlenecks and band collar shirts..do it with style ..peace
