One of my favorite things about your channel is that you often say, “…and that’s why this piece works better.” I like the breakdown because I think a lot of people think styling is just natural fashion instinct, but it’s also a skill that you have to continuously learn - and I learn a lot from you, Andrea!

Wow, so many creative looks with just one skirt 😍 I loved them all! Metals to me are neutrals so they can all go together, and mixing patterns is so fun! When you showed the inside of your coat with the animal print next to the floral print of the skirt I thought it was intentional because I loved it so much 😍😍😍

The spring outfit with the updo is STUNNING! I'm a govt.worker and college teacher so that would be my go-to for formal socials, even though my pear shaped body type might not be flattered by the silhoette, but the ensemble is very ME.

Shapes don't matter as much as your taste. Wear what u want!

When you are pear shaped, like me, the most important thing is to not overly accentuate your hips by adding any extra, unnecessary fabric, like ruffles on the bottom of your shirts or ruching/gathering on the tops of your lowers (skirts or trousers). Other than that, wear what you like, what makes you happy! I'm sure you could happily, and beautifully, wear any of these styles!

Sometimes you can bypass the pear shape by wearing a top/cardigan that's snug up top and flaring out down upon the skirt, accentuating and elongating your waist. Look at long empire waist or peplum tops (sadly difficult to find in shops, if anyone has any brand recommendations please share

Dunno if adding "top-heavy" stuff would balance it out, but you could try: poofy princess sleeves, padded shoulders, pauldrons, whatever. Hope this helps you!

I, too, have a cat named Albie. He's a tabby who is so chill and sweet. 😊 I dig your cat mom energy. The way your cats respond to you tells me you're a sweet person even when the camera isn't recording. Thank you for including those candid moments with your fur babies. ❤ I would love it so very much if you did a series of concert and festival outfits across the multitude of music genres there are. That would be so fun to feel like you're with me in my closet, helping me decide what to wear to see a band or catch a show. 😅 Thank you for all your entertaining content!

Thank you again, Andrea. I pick up a few tricks from others, both on line and in retail. Still learning at 76, and you are the best! I fell in love with fashion when I took up yardage weaving back in the late 1970's. It opened up a world of appreciation for this art and using it in clothing, draperies and rugs that I'm sure you share. I learn more in how to style outfits from you than from anyone else on RU-vid. Yes, you look beautiful Andrea, and the skirt is gorgeous, but I love the little tips I pick up off you about skirt and coat length etc. Also, mixed metals are very popular right now and I like how you explained how they should complement each other because I know that there will be some of people trying to match a warm gold with a cool silver and wondering why it doesn't work. 😂😂

The autumn and winter looks were my favorites, then that first spring look. That skirt is so beautiful, it definitely needs to be worn often! Maybe add a sweater with a bit of sparkle for a holiday look?

Yess to wearing the same clothes all year round! I have a crop top that i bought and rarely use because it only works for summer, so i started wearing it under cardigans and no one can see that it's cropped! Now i can wear it year-round!

I wear skirts I dresses ...... End of ...... No trousers. A nice thick pair of over the knee socks will keep you perfectly warm in the Winter 😆. Recommendation ...... Find yourself a drawtop bag with tassels (I have one of my grandmother's from the 1920's that I used as an idea and manufactured a couple from thrift shop fabrics) ...... Looks lovely with your Summer blouse and skirt choice. Love 😍 your kitties!

I have a selection of different circle skirts or gathered skirts I made myself, high waisted and end from above my knees to mid-calf. And a number of itentical tops in white, red and black. I wear them all year around in a few different combinations. It's great. And always looks really good. Absolutely loved this video. ❤
