Mate this vid fired me up almost made me dig my boots out and come out of retirement I did a bit of 1 and 5 Cut club socks then wear a Nike sports sock I use a single tubogrip not doubled over place shinnies behind that then go over with cut club sock and then use rock tape or zinc oxide tape round the ankles 👌🏾

I believe it goes both ways. Companies market it according to position like how Nike does it (position-wise) or even Adidas, albeit from a bit wider perspective (Style of play). Even boots like Mizuno did that earlier with Wave Ignitus, Basara and Neo Morelias. However, for a player it is important to know what fits them well and how comfortable it is to run, control and shoot wearing that boot. Back in the day T90 was marketed with stats like the number of touches one makes in 90 minutes. Players like Dybala and Pogba have been changing boots as they have progressed as players. Messi doesn't always wear top of the range boots and Suarez wears the Chaos with laces and we all know that story of Scholes buying a relatively cheap boot when he made his return back in Manchester colours and not having any problems at all. True Predator fan Stevie G switched after LZ (and personally, I think it may have hampered his performance too). Even I switched from Predator once they came up with those Predator LZ and switched to Mizuno and have not turned back since then. I like having the ball and passing it. The touch and feel is important and for that Leather is perfect. So, it is all about your personal preference and your style of play and sometimes that does fit the 'positional marketing ploy' of the big companies and their research pays off. :D Now where do I get my free Mizuno Rebula? :P

Best way - buy Compression Sleeves for RUNNERS from a reputable brand (mine are from under armour). They should fit very tight. Now put it onto your leg and fold the bottom half over the top, and slide your shin guard in between the 2 layers. Then put your match socks on over the whole thing. Your shin pads won’t move at all the whole game
