This is a long comment Kay but I just couldn’t see where to cut it short... I was so blessed this Easter 💐 I am 62 years old 5 foot 4 and 105 pounds With long layered mostly gray hair which I curled this day:-) Upon arrival at our family gathering one of my daughters looked at me and said “mom! You look so southern!” and then another daughter turned and looking at me said, “mom, you look adorable! “ I was wearing straight leg heavy white jeans, a long sleeve V-neck light pink T-shirt with a mostly light pink textured blazer (unbuttoned) with a small amount of a brighter pink, a camel color, and white woven into it. I wore a neutral flat sandal and I had just found a cupped brimmed straw hat all of which I would have never had the courage to wear if it were not for you and your channel here on RU-vid. I have never been into fashion and all four of my daughters are HIGHLY into fashion and two of them are professional singers with one also be an actress and model as well. Also, from other outfits that I have put together recently I have gotten innumerable compliments from my husband of how cute I look or adorable I look… At 62! with long mostly gray hair! So I just wanted to share that with you and thank you because probably for the first time in my life I’m excited to get up and get dressed for my day… It is so much fun! 😊👏🏼💞

It just takes a little encouragement and explanation from Kay to be emboldened to complete an outfit. I’ve been finishing my outfits with little flourishes lately and it makes a difference. The other day my husband told me I looked like I’m twenty something! Well, I’m 60. Having to quit working unexpectedly five years ago, my routine has been to wear basics only. Now I feel so much better about my look by using Kay’s videos. Take a risk. Thanks Karen for sharing. Thanks Kay for helping us to dress age-appropriately while still being on trend.

I am also of the opinion that white jeans feel more fun when saved to pull out in Spring. I rushed to my closet to see the color of the pockets. My Talbots white jeans do have the nude colored pockets. Yay!

You don’t have to tuck your shirt. But I suggest you look for tops that end where you want them so they create the best proportions. Really the sky’s the limit.

I literally just received my first white jeans from Jen7 yesterday (they are sort of a Sailor-type trouser.... high waist, angle pockets, hearty seaming, and awesome hem) and CAN'T WAIT to wear them! My hubby loves them on me, and is planning a date night! So excited to jump into something new, and style them up right! I got mine from a Tommy Hilfiger outlet about 4 yrs ago. They are skinny jeans but not skin tight. Love them with heels, sandals, sneakers, and flip flops!! Wore them once with a hot pink top and hot pink strappy heels. That was a fun outfit.

Pulled out my white jean skirts a few weeks ago and love to pair them with all things preppy: pink stripe Oxford, Ralph Lauren navy sweater blazer, denim jacket, all shades of POLO tee shirts with navy Sperry. Wonderful ideas for white jeans. I did not wear mine primarily because I didn't want to get the mucky slush on the back of them this winter. Very hard to get that off. Plus it feels so fresh to wear them in the spring and summer.

Thanks Kay, this is great. I really love Uniqlo jeans. They come in tall, and a medium high waist, instead of high waist. I find all jeans too hot in the Midwest summer though, haha.

I love white jeans also, but usually save them for spring and summer because of the snow, slush, etc. I did wear off white jeans this past winter twice but when it was really cold and did not have to worry about mud spots on the back of the legs. Love all your ideas. I have the button fly jeans from JCrew and love the fit. Now I have to wear them more this season.

I’m going to clean my closet out, yet again, tomorrow. It’s supposed to rain, so my dogs won’t be going out much. It’s a mess. But I will find my white jeans. I haven’t worn them in forever. I normally go from jeans or sweatpants to shorts. You know the weather in Georgia. It goes from cool to hot. And I love the heat. I have a closet full of clothes I never wear. So there will be enough for all my granddaughters and for Goodwill. I hate to get rid of my clothes. But I have all the closets in our house full of my stuff. I decided I don’t that much. So I’m hoping when I’m done I only have one closet. That goes for my shoes and boots too. Now I have some inspiration on what kind of outfits I can put together. Another great video.

I really like the look of white jeans. Clean and fresh. You look great in the pair with the button fly. You don't have a belly. For women like myself who unfortunately have a belly I wouldn't wear that style because I feel it draws the eye to that area of the body. I usually try to wear jeans or pants with a flat waist which gives a more slimming appearance.

I just bought a new pair that are pull on by NYDJ at Macy’s . They are so comfortable and they are straight leg . They look like regular jeans but I wear my tops out , not tucked in.

Like you I'm for the generation that only use white pants in Summer when the heat and the sun hitting us😅 However, I'll try to use it in Spring; but, here in Frisco de weather is chilling rightnow. I’m on team pull them out for summer! At first it was out of habit, then I realized I liked keeping some things just for certain seasons. Since moving to the rainy PNW, I can just picture white jeans Fall-Spring. 🙀

Well aren’t you the cutest! Loved this one! I love my white jeans too! I found the CUTEST pair at the LOFT this year bc I wear Petites best at 5’ 2”, and they’re a High Waist, Straight Crop fit with a frayed/distressed hem and just adorable! I love the thickness to them too and thats bc they’re 98% cotton and only 2% elastin which I have found is my max in stretch to be my fave. I also bought my standard size 27, so they run true to size for anyone interested in them. They come in regular sizes too.

I'm so jealous of people who can wear white jeans. I don't wear white below the waist because I know I'll get a smudge, streak, or spot on the legs within half an hour. Even khaki is a risk. I just seem to have the knack. 🙄

In Scotland you'll count on one hand how many times you'll get white jeans worn in a summer ! We've just had a snowy Easter which is clearing, but it's still only 3 degrees C. I do think you need a bit of a suntan to wear them, especially if they are ankle length and you're showing your feet.

@@donnatregaro7375 Yes, it was fun as a teen, with the 40 off! Was in DECA and got the chance to learn receiving, placement of merch, etc. All a teen's delight! Still, love making outfits, in my late 50's! Anne Taylor reminds me of Casual Corner, at a higher price range.
