How To Weave on the Heavy Bag. Tom Yankello of the @WorldClassBoxingChannel teaches how you can work on the weave using the aqua bag. The aqua bag is an excellent bag to practice the weave. Tom explains that it is important for guys that are pressure fighters to learn how to cut distance by weaving their head properly. When practicing working the weave on the aqua bag, you are not doing the same weave over and over again. Tom shows you how to mix up the different types of weaves. He also explains that while practicing weaving on the heavy bag, you also are practicing punching off the weave. Another technique you can work on in the drill is bobbing at the waist which Tom explains in the demonstration. After demonstrating weaving on the aquabag, Tom shows you a clip of Joe Frazier and Dwight Muhammad Qawi bobbing and weaving.
