As another proud Jaguar owner (I love my X100 XKR), this has been amazing to watch. I just wish he would do some rust proofing after taking an angle grinder to the arches.
Plugging the breather hole is going to cause the axle seals to blow and leak gear oil. You should use a long rubber tube and extend the breather to a high spot, like the gas filler neck.
Does not matter how it looks in the end its still your opinion and my opinion is with a cut bumper it would look better or more menacing not "menicing"

The second light he showed works really well. The power went out at the store I work at and I used that to guide customers to the front and that sucker lights up a room
Indeed, those small plates will bend. Needs bracing. Way to thin and not placed in its strongest orientation. A match stick is weak. But try to crush it between your indexfinger and thumb. Orientation of load is everything on stuff like this. I bet it wil bend by standing on the bar easily.
dquad in Australia thats called a nudge bar a bull bar is a lot bigger and more heavy duty. A nudge bar just nudging something certainly not hitting anything.
Cornelius Larsen cause the inner fender well connects there. If they cut any further there would be a gaping hole for water and mud to come flying into the interior. They're probably going to bash the hell outta them with a sledge to make a lil more room.
Well the car is going to suck off road. It doesn't have the heavy duty parts. No skid plates either. I bet the first thing they will break is they will put to much stress on the steering and bend a tie rod

Thats amazing but yeah wheel arches does need alot of cutting maybe add those fiberglass arches on top and rivet them on and add truck mudflaps aswell. Keep it going looking forward to see more videos of the mud type
If you really want a welded diff that will never give you problems start with a 3/8 inch plate, weld 4 roots on each side then do 3 cover passes on each root and then finally weave over the whole plate covering any existing bare metal. Use this process for both sides of the diff and make sure to really burn by turning up your machine so she’s welding hot and your laying down beads so hot you melt spider gears together. I’ve had a setup like this in the rear of my Cherokee inside of a Dana 44 and she hasn’t given me problems in the 4 years I’ve had her welded. Side note you may blow through axles depending on your diff but if you do it this way I doubt you’ll ever have the spider gears come apart.
Im doing a small 'mod' on my Jaguar X-type to, im swapping my my alloy 18" Aruba's to Black 18" Aruba's 😎 im not welding diffs adding bullbars straight piping it or anything but i gotta start somewhere 😎
Make sure you cap the top rack square tube holes! Watch the chrisfix truck rack video and you'll see what I mean! It will prevent rust and keep water out. Good luck!
