I've only seen one other 2002 restoration that was as complete and thorough as yours...and it was done by a TEAM of BMW engineers. I really admire your effort. Keep these videos coming.

You can use only for exsample upol weld primer and this enough to save from rust after welding.

good how you try to get the paint between the plates. does that actually exist penetrating paint? At the blacksmith where I used to work they had dipping paint, high-temperature paint was very running but perfectly covering

Thank you maybe i’m a freak in this ,Don't think everyone's doing it, but I think the more protection possible the better. 😁

@@Restorezone For sure, you do it the way I do, I have never applied compressed air, I will definitely do it.

Is it possible to remove the nose and wings in one piece? Or do you have to cut. I don’t seem to find good instructions on removing the front bodywork. Any tips?

Can't say for sure either ... there are a couple of sportwelds under your wing on side of your nose anyway on those you're already going to have a harder time or are going to have to grind down . I'm not going to be able to help you with that either, good luck I would say.

Can i ask you why you replaced the front nose panel?

Because it was too bad on the sides and inside where the radiator sits, it would have taken more work and time to weld plates all over it then what I've done now and now I'm sure it's better 😉.
