mine will come today and thanks to your video..i see it will be easy to replace...thanks so much..i know 100% its the problem with ours...water flow is normal then verily coming out...i tested everything..it was the only thing left to replace...i did buy a water inlet valve..but after ordering it..3 mins later i figured out it was the filter housing..lol its ok i wasted money..i will keep the older water valve for a backup..plus when i bought the refrigerator it was used but in perfect shape..except the water valve was cracked because they stored it out side in garage through 2 winters...well that water that trapped in it froze and broke it in 2 places..well i replaced it and so i have 2 used but like new valves for backup...anyway thanks so much for your video..i downloaded it for memories..:-) early merry Christmas to you and your family
My KitchenAid has started to make a noise like a jack hammer when I dispense water. I just changed the filter a month ago. Do you think it is a faulty filter or do I need this part in the video?
Great tutorial for those who are changing a filter that is not stuck. Most of them are stuck. When it is easy, it is easy. How do you get these poorly designed filters out when they are stuck?
I have this same filter head. The fridge is less than a year old, I accidentally pressed on one of those white buttons which I assume dispenses the water once the filter is installed but now it doesn't stop squirting water. Is there a way to fix this without replacing the whole assembly?
How do you replace the little bubble part on the top surface of the Maytag refrigerator????? It's skeeting water to the ceiling! Do you have a link to that???
Great video. But for my KFCS22EVMS6 KitchenAid, removing out the filter head assembly from inside the frig varies from the video. After removing the filer cover, one also needs to remove a back cover by pushing down from the back. The back cover will drop and the front portion of the back cover will be hanging on the pivot of the from cover. One can remove it to get a clearer view of the clip as shown on the video. However, the clip is on the right hand side, instead of the left side in the video.
What goes bad i jist saw small squirt behind the filter but i cant tell where its coming from i changed filter one time 2 months ago or so could i have broken something while changing it id liketo know this so it doesnt happen again
Hi I have a whirlpool fridge model WRX735SDHZ04, which I noticed that the water dispenser filter is not lasting the time it should, meaning a month with a poor water flow. Watching your video I think that the head could be the problem, anticipated thanks for your attention.
The water filter head is only available with the reservoir, that part number is W11346622. You can place that order through the website, or you can call us at 1-877-477-7278 to place that order over the phone.
You will need to check for power to the water valve when you push the dispenser for water. If you have power there and no water is coming in then you will need to replace the water valve.
You will need to use a multimeter set to ac voltage, place the leads on the wires that plug into the water valve. You may need to locate the tech sheet to determine which wires you need to test at. You will also need to be very careful since this is a live voltage test and it can be dangerous. If you are not comfortable doing that test you will need to contact a technician.
