I have a small ROSSI Single Shotgun and I went to the Turkey Shoot Won it was a small turkey shoot that a family dos in Smithfield it was my first turkey shoot I had no experience at a turkey shoot so I made this video telling about my experience and how I won. Put up a large paper at the distance you normally shoot at the turkey shoot and use the same shells they use.Shoot four or five shots at the center of the paper. Notice on the paper where the densist cluster of pellets are. This will tell you where to aim at the target so most pellets will be in the center.

How many feet is the paper target?

@@scotthildebrand1904 a sheet of posrer board will suffice. if you are asking how far 40 yards or whatever distance they use in your area

When you incorporate breathing, aim and trigger control at the bottom of your breathing, aim for the center and see where the shot lands.

You shoot, study the spread and adjust your aim for maximum target bullseye coverage

Aiming off center is a method to compensate for poor sight picture, muzzle control, and flinching. Aim center, breath deep, exhale. If you are still on center, breath in again and at the bottom of your exhale gently squeeze the trigger.

this year at my local turkey shoot i came in second place with an old ithica deerslayer 16 guage that i got for free and that i never shoot

You must have some horrible guns there at your shoots, we blow the center out of the targets and don’t even have fancy guns, some guns work better than others, I’m shooting a $300 gun

bassist1217 I had a small shotgun shooting a small target about 25 yards always it’s not that easy to win I have not chocks no scopes you go shot with a small shotgun when every body has all this stuff on it and you have nothing then you come tell me it’s that easy to hit the center
