Geo could you pls make a video regarding being intimate with your spouse while seperated? Me and my wife have been separated for almost 6 months now and have been intimate twice, I do take advantage of every opportunity to break down the stone walling and show her the changes and try to dive deep in understanding her perspective, but maybe I need to work on my bulletproof vest cause and I know i shouldn't have a victim mindset but damn brotha it kinda hits home in the way that although she did open kissed me and held it for a good 5 seconds and she hugged me with a long pause afterwards but later that day when she dropped the kids off she resisted and stone walled me again lol which I know i need to persist but what does it mean in your perspective is there any good to being intimate with your spouse while seperated?

I see how my neediness is pushing her further away and I'm trying to work on it. But at the same time, she has been saying for years (and still says) that she wants me to be more open and communicative about my emotions, and I am genuinely feeling needy. I do feel like I am genuinely making these changes for myself and all the people around me, but ideally I would like to apply those changes to benefit her and our relationship as well. The changes are honestly coming frighteningly easy. Not only with her, I find myself communicating better and more naturally with other people. I say frighteningly easy because I don't understand why it was so hard before. Why couldn't I do this years ago? It's incredibly frustrating. I don't believe I will stop making my changes even if she does leave. I'm happier this way. I can make the changes for myself, but I feel that I owe it to her to give her that version of myself. Even if the changes aren't for her, I do have hope that she will see and appreciate them. I don't know how to let go of that hope.

I believe that look at unconditional is incorrect. I know why I love my wife, her eyes, how she makes up silly songs, how she falls asleep in my arms, the games we played. Unconditional means that regardless of the mistakes she makes, I will love her. Not that I do it just because, but that I love her because she is who she is and I don't limit it do to anything she does for me.

You have taught me a lot, Geoffrey, but I think I will have to disagree with this one. I define my unconditional love as, "I love you BECAUSE of your flaws." My capacity for understanding and acceptance is nearly endless, but incorporating our differences into my love takes time and effort from me; It is not instant. This effort is part of bettering myself. I do not like the process, but I am oriented towards the goal. Having a clear sight of where I am headed helps me accept the torture. This is doubly true because not only will the results of my struggle benefit me personally, it will make the person I love happier. (This is akin to something like jogging to lose weight -- I might dislike it, but I know I must put in the work to achieve the result I want.) This goes for any kind of relationship, from friendships to romantic relationships to familial bonds. I believe each of us is woven from different threads into different kinds of fabrics. It is our differences that connect us, in my opinion. It is for this reason that I am supportive of the struggles of the people I surround myself with. I know at the end that they will come out better and stronger, even if I must undertake some of their suffering for us to reap the rewards.

Hi Geoffrey! I am currently deeply engaged in your Relationship Revival program and I love it. I listen to your utube videos while driving, working or at the gym for 3 reasons. First, my relationship is in jeopardy and I know that bettering myself os the answer. Next, your genius is so far above and beyond anything else I found. And third, your RR program is so rich and intense, it requires my full focus and attention to grasp, digest and consume to become the new version of myself that I truly love thriving on. Thanks a billion!

What Jeff explained about unconditional love here is true, because he is talking about love in a couple relationship, specifically. Unconditional love is truly the highest form of love, but it is in spiritual dimension because unconditional love only exist within those who have deep relationship with God, not human to human. You love your partner because you know your partner also love you in the first place, and that's not unconditional love at all. For anyone who still insist you have unconditional love to your partner / spouse, try to expect / dare yourself to pray to get hurt deeply or betrayed fiercely by someone u love unconditionally. If you don't even dare to do it, you know the answer then. I will put it simple, the one and only one human on this planet who demonstrated true unconditional love is Jesus.

I have liked a lot of what you have said, but your first example of "unconditional love" is not an accurate description of what that phrase normally means. The meaning is normally that "I will continue loving you no matter what you do, because I want to". I do not believe any of us is quite capable of "unconditional love" for a spouse or partner outside of God.

Hi Geoff, I would like to know if you may have some advice for my particular situation. my girlfriend of 7 years cheated on me with my brothers girlfriend and she has now come out with she loves me but isn't in love with me anymore, I have listened to many of your videos now and it really has been so helpful for my own mindset and grasping my own understanding of a relationship. she has also come out that she is bisexual and I wonder if this could still be fixable? I have made many mistakes in our relationship over the years and I most certainly believe that the event involving the other woman has come from also how much I have let her down in the past.

Don't get stuck on semantics. Make sure you understand the main point -- I don't think many people define it like that. Most people want unconditional love to say "Love me despite my flaws".

there is a lot of "overlap" in your many youtube videos. Surely a lot of the info could be condensed into a few underlying memorable principles guidelines which would be more helpful. Many of the scenarios you describe are to produce a perfect man (who does not exist) with a high maintenance demanding wife or partner. In ALL relationships you love your partner even with some faults (otherwise they would not be human beings!!!).

Don't try to compete with her parents. Treat your girlfriend well and let her parents know of your noble intentions. This will spark genuine interest in knowing you. As a parent, a parent is concerned about the well being of their child when they are with you. So her parents can not dislike you because they do not know you.

Hi David Baker, No, not exactly what I am saying here. In order for our partners to restore hope in the relationship once again we must first level up and grow in the right ways and when doing this we must remain non attached to the outcome. watch this video to learn a bit more and come back to let me know what you think. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LK0gJ7oFciE.html
