How to win Bank-A-Ball carnival fair midway game

Oh I know that feeling of being barred from a game haha. I won ONE game at our local carnival that comes to town in b-ham, and they said I could no longer play because I got it on my first try, it was such a bummer!

At the fair where I live they have hover boards to win and he lets u lean as much as u want u now have 3 hover boards😂😂

OMG so the guy was soo nice, we tried and didnt make it so we started to move on to a ride, but he called us back and let us play for free, without a prize , and basically taught us where to stand and how to throw AND I MADE IT( yes I am aware he was just trying to get us to come back) but he was soo nice about it, so I tried again, with money this time, AND I MISSED. I thought it was bad luck so I tried twice more. No luck. I was soo mad cuz I wanted a giant bear

Just wanted to say...there are so many versions of this game, different angles and different rules depending on where you play and how the Board Angles are. I've been working the Carnival for 22 years up here and Canada. We have two versions. One is the down shot (our boards are a little closer together, but close to the Video here) but we allow you to reach in/lean in as far as you want and the ball has to hit the bottom of the board but above the Foul Zone. The other one is an up shot (boards are Much Further apart, opposite of this game) where you can be in a low position or standing, but the ball must hit the top of the board but just below the Foul Zone and go in the basket and you CAN NOT lean into the game. We had a sign state, "Do to the simplicity of the game, we reserve the right to limit players." All of our boards have a metal "Foul Zone" around the outside of the circle...if the ball hit that (Makes a big load noise) then the ball is dead...doesn't count and is a dead ball. So depending on the angle of the boards and the rules of the games, all Bank A Ball games are different. Ask first to know all the rules (which in most States/Provinces in the USA & Canada have to be displayed), ask to see the game operator for a demonstration to see what is classified as a win, and ask how many times you are allowed to win in a day. Most games say 1 time per day. So all Bank a Ball games are different. Please watch carefully and ask lots of questions first before playing. Trust me...the game is winnable, but it is meant to be hard to be challenging. There are 2 types of games out there. Games of Skill and games of Chance. This game is a skill. Ring a Bottle is pure Chance...luck. Not skill. Then you have prize every time for kids. Simple.

The girl operating the game is not a carny and not an agent. Agents are professional operators on a game that they feature. I featured this game at many state fairs. I used to go outside the game and demonstrate it exactly the way a client had to play it. The game in the video is not a true carnival game but has been softened up. Our rules were strickter. You had to stand, you couldn't lean in, and you couldn't hit the edge of the board. This player would have been disqualified at my game. I followed all these rules when I demonstrated the game from outside. The game is won not by throwing the ball but by "flicking" the ball with you finger tips. This makes the ball go up at a steep angle. You have to also hit the board high up because that part is the furthest back and so gives you the most space into the basket. By flicking it at a steep angle and hitting the board high, the ball will bounce strait up and so comes strait down, into the basket. I had people win from time to time and I always gave them the prize. it's already a difficult game anyway. Carnies who won't give you the prize think they "win" when they cheat you out of a prize but we consider them to be assholes and they draw heat on our business. We make plenty of money, you wouldn't believe how much we make. My best day was at Tulsa State Fair, on Saturday, I made........well I'll keep some secrets.

PS all of you, save your money. Carnival stuffed animals are on the low end of stuffed animal quality. Better to go buy a good one from the store. I know winning is fun and beating a carney is even funner but that's what they count on. I know carnies that can spot you coming down the midway and know how to challenge you, intimidate you and corral you like sheep. This is their profession.

You got plain and simple. There are no foul lines on that banked sign and that basket is pulled way out. Your technique is completely wrong too. But you won. Congrats.
