Smoke b short, smoke connector, moli/smoke sniper nest rush b from b short. This strategy has fucked me over so many times (I play A default). I know how to tackle such things but man how tf you explain it to your teammates.
Thank you for these vids. I started playing cs again after taking a 2 year break due to school. I never took the game seriously (rarely learning smokes, pop flashs, using speaker instead of earphones/headset) got ranked at silver 3 but managed to get it up to GN 1. After my break, i played again but got SE. These vids really helped as I never truly delved myself into the game and what a time to start playing again!!
Focus on training your reflexes and spray control, if you're not playing with friends who know how to hold effectively and know when to rotate or switch angles, tactics won't do you much good. I can honestly say that at LE level, mechanical aim and gamesense is still most important. Utility helps but tactics rarely compensate for weak aim. Until you get a solid team and you're way up in the highest ranks.
I could spend hours writing how useful your vid are and that I ranked up from gn2 to dmg but I'd rather ask you to do this for train/nuke. I know you did a bunch of SoloQ vid for train which are very helpful but an entire video focussing on train would be awesome. And I believe your Nuke video is kinda outdated... Keep up the insane work bro
Not everyone has the same mindset as you though. You could have the best Strat While Your teammate might think its trash. You might say "DONT POOSH" But they push. You cant really be an IGL In SoloQ so good luck lol
I'm usually playing mirage on ct side like that in supreme: Going 1st round underpass to catch enemies offguard if they go b contact or rush. 2nd round I buy a mp9 and 2 flashes with kevlar and go window. Then I throw a pop flash instead of the smoke with gap in left side, so I blind literally everyone on mid who's no longer in cover and they're advancing. If window is smoked, im throwing a nade under window and a molotov in front of connector and if I still have a flash, I'm asking the guy short to peek after I flash and when there's nobody short, I wait a bit until smoke starts to dissipate and then I'm throwing the popflash so they won't see it coming (its hard to notice it anyways but its fine to throw it when the smoke expires). Then I peek everything carefully not just going in the middle of the window and dying if they haven't been flashed. I peek short, then top mid boxes then mid then i move in the left side of window and watch chair and also keeping an eye on the bench and underwindow. Then I rotate to A site and I watch palace, then ramp and the round is done. Usually when I do this, i need 3 guys in B so I don't need to rotate from that far away in case if it's b site. The guy in a all he has to do is to stay alive and give info when he hears or spots someone or something. this map is the most unpredictable map in the entire game even tho it's old af. People are still coming out with new ideas to execute a bombsite and that's something you wanna watch out for.
Thanks for the video Voo, please do one for CT side on Overpass. At lowers ranks I feel like the map is too T-sided as they can rush and get the bomb site (especially B) while the CT setups can be quite hard to play at lower ranks as nade usage, positioning and timings can be very punishing and hard to understand. Same as Nuke really. It's a big map with lots of depth that can be hard to play as CT and you can get overwhelmed or left last man standing before you can even do much.
Playing ct side on train is easy, run a 4,1 setup and call for rotate. Whoever is playing solo b is essential to losing or winning because that player is the call maker. Smoke ramp and watch upper. If you're running awp, z or oil is a nice place to play as they come in you can call for a rotate and fall back to wait for you team to do a retake. If you're running a rifle, you mostly should play inside ramp with a almost one way smoke. If you hear them coming your way, Molly deck to force them down, giving you the advantage as they prolly won't notice you through the smoke off the bat from the lower point. Or you can play it passive and look for information and play for retake.
That flash over the roof in the A side is really the kryptonite to A set up. I generally find myself pushing through the cross smoke to see 2 - 3 blinded T's.
thanks voo :) look forward to ct inferno.. and other maps like train, overpass, vertigo & nuke. also, quick question are these video's researched from pro teams or mainly from in-game experience?
Voo is a pro. He has even coached pros. That's how he is able to get pros to come on and go over their demos with him. He has plenty of guides that show how a silver positions vs how a gold positions vs how a pro positions, hold site, watches angles, etc.
He generally watches pro games to determine the meta. There have been no pro games. If you want to play it well get some friends who are willing to try new things and learn and you can experiment
Yeah but they can't hit you cause accuracy is bad, only if someone gets lucky mid air headshot ,and its a spot for ppl with good aim so u kill them before they land + the molly under the window is rad, perfect for finishing off wounded enemy
@@sidhantjasrotia220 I guess I misunderstood, you mean the closed window? Still you're in a pretty tight spot, you can't get out of there so it's a stand to the death. Plus you need to keep 3 angles, window, balcony and under balcony. In a good play you can deny T's the bombplant and win the round but in a bad round someone out of balcony might entry frag you and then T's immediately gain access to the bombsite unless you have a 2nd B player on bench covering balcony.
@@jaco6971 yea,and u are right, the under balcony gives me tough time especially when there are too many targets to shoot, I don't know what name of the spot you used( get_right ,is it the pillar-arch thing front of short? ),so i was confused as well😅,can you tell its location so i learn something new, I was thinking more like tucked in the corner,so they can't see you even when checking unless they commit to the rush and jump, its a short window of time to kill many targets, but with a buddy back of site + the molly voo talked about, its very doable, But its only good for rushes
@@sidhantjasrotia220 yeah get_right is the corner under the wallbangable brown door. Yeah I tried that spot a lot but I can say that you usually get traded after 1 or max 2 kills, so yeah the molly could help but then you definitely need a player on site or bench cause the rest will jump out on balcony and if not, it's not really a rush anymore so your team should have enough time to rotate.
9:28 you can also add that if they do actually decide to go in the molly and fight you, even if they win they might actually burn as they had to stand still while shooting
90% of time i play with my friend in mirage we hold b together i'm in short and friend is taking info from apps so what comes that 90% of winning rushes simply 2 mollys 1 under window and 1 in that balcony or ledge towards app then other nades worked in le many times
Can you do a series that focuses more on how to position yourself as a solo queue player? Specifically which angles are the strongest to hold or when it's a good idea to push? I'm gold nova 3 and my teammates absolutely do not play any kind of "set up" they just run around and do whatever they fuck they want and don't say a word the whole round. Mirage is by far my worst map, especially on CT side. I feel like I'm open to multiple angles and end up getting shot in the back a lot. Like if I'm playing on A and my teammates fail to mention that they can be running up connector.
Hey Voo, thanks for the vid, I was hoping you'd give some tips on what to do when you're defending A and the terrorists do an execute with smokes on stairs, jungle and ct. What's the best course of action in that scenario? Is it better to give up site while waiting for reinforcements or should you try to hold your ground as much as possible?
I was on CT side, I'm not even ranked and I held off 4 players on B using Negev and 1 player on the opposite team killed all players on A and Mid so i died due to 4 hp.... I'm sad!
Great vid! I'm sorry though Voo, ticket booth is not a good spot. Your so exposed and you have one way to drop and avoid bullets, that then puts you in a corner which can be mollied easily. If you had a smoke and flash to get out then fine but it's still a waste of ulitity if you use to it just to survive imo.
If you're practicing against bots you're doing it wrong. Practice nades if you dont have wifi, then do retake, execute, or hs only dm servers while online
Skillwise, you can use mod on gamebanana or directly edit botprofile file. However, bots do not use standard formation used by players. CT bots usually group as one and push on same direction.
If anybody wants to play let me know. My brother and I run strats and know almost every smoke on every map. We are gold nova 2 but mainly struggle finding other teammates to play like this^
Betard what’s your steam? I doubt you can play 700 hours and still have the aim and game sense of a silver 1 so obviously the problem has to lie elsewhere
Feel like theres no point watching videos like this anymore with the current state of the game. There are fresh accounts dominating almost every single game and when I check the demo, they are not even trying to hide it
