Cool! I was crushed twice by Loek (pronounced like the English 'look', not as 'lok'), in a simultaneous exhibition. One hour later there was a Backgammon simultaneous exhib where Loek was one of the players. He always was a light hearted player with a good sense of humour when i met him.. And yes, i got crushed by Jeroen Piket and Jan Timman too (i was very young and he was about to retire)...
Agadmator: 12:13 You will be able to continue to check the king for eternity .......or for 3-fold repetition occurs ! Einstein :- Finally someone who understands the concept of "Time dilation" in my theory of relativity
Loek is actually pronounced as “Look”. Often in Dutch the “oe” is pronounced as “oo”. Also Jan van Smeets was almost right, but Smeets should be pronounced as “Smates” (as in checkmate ;) ). Also, keep up the great content, I love it. Love from The Netherlands
am I alone in this or does anyone else agree that it's almost more interesting to see games where someone beats Magnus rather than seeing games where Magnus steamrolls everyone else over and over and over and over again? Some variety please
@@nazarenoalmiron526 well sure but engines will be even stronger in the future did he mean not widely used? Maybe idk but I'm pretty by that time they were already strong enough to be very useable and pretty solidly beyond human level play
#suggestion hey Antonio, I know that the candidates is almost upon us but have you ever considered doing a series just like you did for Fischer but with Alekhine vs Capablanca of 1927? Would love to have those games covered by you. Thanks and keep up the great work! =)
I noticed the "Capture Captures Women" left off the women. Unless it's "Captures captures " women sizes. That makes sense. But "Captures captures Women" works also. people say I take things too literally. . . among other things.
I always wonder if Magnus washes or sanitizes that thing that he has under his eyebrows and up his nose... that little thing like a butt between his forehead and nose
"How To Win When You're The Stronger Player" The title of this video indicates that it's entirely irrelevant to me. May I suggest the following video? "How to Win When You're a Blundering Fool"
