Very nice video and very informative. It so helpful for me because I think I may need to do part time after this contract that I’m working. I am curious about housing. I know people always say it’s expensive here and the having to pay the deposit and all of that. can you make a video about how got your apartment and maybe the cost involved in that.
i am planning on taking the leap and move to South Korea and I have literally just finished binging on all of your videos. I must say that your editing skills are very impressive. Thank you for being so authentically you. You are so relatable and so enjoyable to watch and you seem like such a kind soul. If you do not mind me asking, can I please ask how much you needed excluding paying for documents. So how much money on average would one need for flight and to cover them for the 1 month.
I think everyone has different experience for public school because I wish I had more to doing nothing desk warming but I always found myself staying even later than my 430 (finish time) because I wanted to finish a PPT lesson or finish a game I created or check for extra activities I can make. But if you only use other peoples materials and stuff (which is fine) like that I guess your time would be saved😂 it really is depending on if you just want to teach or be a ( public school) teacher. Which both are fine as long as you take your job seriously. if you just want to teach (but not prep or help students after class) you would have a lot more time then if you want to be a public teacher. And usually during break time you can do your camps or prepare for the following semester😅
Thank you so much . This was so informative. 😬my school insists that it’s illegal to have a part-time job. Is there any document from immigration with all this information or similar for me to show him?
Hi Nolu. I’m in the process of going this part time route. I was wondering on how can I contact the health insurance to start paying it for myself until I find a school that can cover it.
If the company is Korean and you’re paid into your Korean account, then definitely but if you work for a company in a different country and are paid into a foreign account then you’re okay
