Atleast you tried I have to watch these videos every year after telling myself I will wrap this time nope I just throw everything in reusable bags now 😅
the problem for me is the sh!t where you have to "crease" the triangular corners. no matter what, it *NEVER EVER* lines up correctly; either wasting a buttload of wrapping paper in a crumpled up mess, or coming up short and revealing a sliver of the gift on the side. it's just trash. even with instructionals doesnt work. I wish I could just "skip" christmas solely because of the gift-wrapping.
This is how my mum taught me way back when I was like 5 years old! Everyone always tells me I have beautiful wrapping skills. This year I was thinking of donating my time and wrapping skills to the ladies who wrap for donations at the mall 🥰
I love your Channel so much because these are little shorts of advice on things you would pick up on during life but you’re just pumping out this advice on a regular basis. Thank you so much from the bottom of all of our hearts ❤️
@@mbox30____ British dish called bangers and mash. Basically sausages and mashed potatoes. There's a bar near me that makes a good one. It's an Irish pub so it makes sense in the US lol
I work at a toy store where we wrap presents for free so especially this time of year we wrap hundreds of gifts every day and this I how we do it. This is 100% accurate.
my god man you've done it. my whole life I have been able to excuse my terrible wrapping jobs with a laugh. but now i have no excuse. now I know how to wrap. thanks to you.
I learned from watching my mom. It’s similar but we don’t measure, we use the roll and wrap the gift once around the gift and cut. Then tape to attach gift wrap to box. No folding yet. For the ends, we fold in the same way and if it is to long, we cut
thank you so much! I tried to wrap a present the other day. ended it tears (I had some other issues that day) this is so helpful though! thank you! have a blessed week everyone! God loves us all so much:)
@@chaimlevin125 I can, but they cried over wrapping a bloody present, thats called being unstable, and its not healthy. Yet they seem happy to admit this on a youtube comment. And if god "loves us all so much" then he wouldve helped her wrapping that present.
omg I'm still a teenager but my mother taught me this when we'd use to wrap my sister's birthday presents when I was like- under 10 still the best way to wrap presents ngl
But it's quite entertaining to tape up every seam and watch it being unwrapped. And I wrap just as good as this guy. But I like to watch my kids work at unwrapping it. It's fun. I can be slightly evil. Even more fun. You wrap a gift in a box, put it inside another box, wrap it, and then even put it in another box and wrap that.
This will be the only time i vent about this but here it goes: this video really made me sad bc i was having trouble wrapping a gift for my ex(which i truly loved and admired) and this video just brought up a lot of memories suddenly. I hope wherever she is she is living life to the fullest. Also thank you for your tutorial
thanks so much :) your explanation is so simple. been seeing this channel on shorts for some time now but this is the first time i actually used the instructions and it was pretty easy to follow. it’s not perfect but im proud of how well i wrapped my gift :)
R u seriously telling you don’t know how to wrap a plain simple box?? I thought that was common sense lol To wrap a gift you don’t really need the measurements he gives you anyway just eyeball it
@@mattknowler4769 this is what I heard also but you can also if you want to go extra split them in half and use a wet stone but foil is prob easier and better
This is the best wrapping video Ive seen so far on youtube. Combined with the first result that comes up of a longer video doing a similar method, this quick run down with some extra tips is fantastic to keep looking at to refresh memory
I love this. Every person and their mother has to make a national geographic documentary on wrappig a gift. This is nice and quick. As well as easy to get.
