Video on how to shrinkwrap your movies using an impulse sealer, PVC bags and a heat gun. Iron Man Futureshop steelbook.
UPDATE- For those wondering-
I used a U-Line Impulse sealer. There are 12" and 8" versions. They're a little more expensive but you can find used ones on ebay for cheaper. Or look here on Amazon-

The wraps have changed over the years. PVC used to be the only thing available in these sizes, but if you've done this before, you noticed that the PVC material gets kind of stiff and brittle when heated. A better product to use is called POF or Polyolefin, it looks and feels better and when you shrink it, it's still malleable and stretchy a bit, and also less shiny than PVC. Just check the bottom and sides where the seams are, ones that were done at home usually have little bubbles in the wrap or badly cut lines on the seams.

This will be perfect to keep old games clean, and even when I'm replacing cases or the sleeved art work, so that way I can display them and I know they won't be damaged

No, it can definitely be made better and smoother, I was just doing it with one hand. You can go over the bottom more and smooth it down too. Also there are other types of wraps, not just shrinkwraps. On a lot of games, they have this kind of plastic wrap that has the corners folded in and then it's sealed with a machine that applies heat along the seams. So that stuff is totally different but it can also be done if you have the machine. It's called a Re-pack It.

I only have a low and high setting on mine, sometimes I put it on high at first to warm it up quickly and make the shrinkwrap shrink most of its excess, but then put it on low and do it carefully, because too hot in one spot will burn right through the plastic.

There's usually Low & High.... always pick Low, and as shown in the video do it about 6-inches away so it doesn't burn a hole thru the cellophane.

This is horrible! I can only imagine game collectors such as myself buying old classic games that are sealed. I can see that one of my games are sealed like this.......... but this was done differently. Now i have to question the ebayer if he self wrapped it.

Well at least it opens up your eyes that this is a possibility. It's not my intention to trick or scam anyone, I use it for my own personal use, but there will always be those people that try and take advantage. Some genuine sealed copies, like movies, have printed in ink on the back of the shrinkwrap- Made in USA or Mexico, or wherever- but resealed copies won't have this. Also, check the sealed seams and see how they're sealed, resealed copies won't be as clean and may have frays on the seams. Hope this helps.

I've seen many questionable "sealed" old Nintendo games that seemed too good to be true, a lot of people will reseal them. Only way I would buy sealed vintage stuff is in person where can clearly see scuff marks or finger prints under the "sealed" wrap

O.A Productions because you are holding the heat gun in place for too long and the plastic is melting. You want to wave it quickly so that it heats enough to shrink but not melt the shrink wrap.

6x9 but measure whatever you're wrapping and get the closest size bigger.

Just check their feedback. If it's over 100+ and all positive you know SOMEBODY would've found out they were resealing and exposed them. Nobody gets away for 100+ sales and not get caught/found out eventually.

You can't really get away with this for systems like the original Xbox or 360 or PS4 because they have branding on the cellophane. For retro systems though I would be extremely worried about getting conned.

I don't do that, I only buy sealed product anyway and would never try and dupe someone because I wouldn't want the same done to me. I just use it for my own personal use sometimes but if others try and do that, it's at their own risk of getting caught.
