Looks so comfortable, unfortunately for me I have to use thin wraps and spar tires can't remember how much I dislocated/fractured my hands even trees are starting to become softer.
Yeahh broo, wrapping your hands when doing box is essential!! Hear me out, i badly hurt my wrist while sparring with my friend with only a gloves on, and suffered it by almost 7months!! No joke! So be careful guys
Everybody complains that hitting a heavy punching bag without wraps or gloves hurts, it doesn’t unless you have a weak wrist and don’t punch with proper form.
When you’re pushing your limits training all it takes is one poorly judged punch and you can break your pinky knuckles or hurt your wrist. Much safer to train with wraps and less chance knuckle or wrist of injury.
more precise protection and form fitting. impossible to do with wraps as youre fixed to the dimensions of the wraps itself. with wraps you have to work around it and are limited to said dimensions of it. with tape and gauze, it works around and with you because of the ability to cut them and tighten each individual piece you apply to your needs
I hated to train Boxing they always restricted me to hands only when i saw so many other openings.. It was a liberation once i started using all my weapons
All of a sudden everyone in the comments know how to wrap hands 💀 the safest way is how it’s shown here, gauze, padding and then tape. The tape looks like it safe distance away from the knuckles. Y’all are gonna crumble and fall when y’all find out how professionals wrap their hands 💀
