Love these videos, especially for this admission cycle (the quality definitely keeps getting better)! I caught one of the clichés in my own "Why Major?" essay (I'm applying as an electrical engineering major) so this definitely helped.

Hey! Great Video! I just wanted to clarify one thing. If I want to talk about the various communities I am part of (community essay) and I talk about some of my work experience with my dad, is it still a good idea to include it in my extra curricular/jobs section of the application?

Hey 👋👋👋👋👋 Love your videos and everything you do, I mean you've been a GREEEAATTTT help to my personal statement and THANK YOU♥️ But what about supplemental essays? Why don't you make videos on those? Like the Harvard supplemental essay questions. Like don't you think students (like me) will have just as much issues to answering the prompt that says "how will the life experience that shaped who you are today enable you to contribute to Harvard," as they have with their personal statements

Thanks for watching! These essay examples were written by our past students who applied to STEM/Engineering programs. Just because you're applying as a STEM student doesn't mean your essays have to drip with STEM verbiage/topics. Admissions readers for those programs still want to see that you're a well rounded, multidimensional student, which these essays signify well. Hope this helps!

What if the person reviewing the essay isn't quite familiar with my lensing device. In this case what if the reviewer doesn't know cheers?

Either way--it's still pretty clear the student knows a ton about the thing they're mentioning and is connecting to it in an interesting way. This shines through the content regardless of the reader's familiarity with said thing.
