I have been job hunting for almost 5 months after transitioning from Architecture and I really needed this. It’s also lovely to see some representation, thank you!
Hi I'm also an Architect and hoping to switch career to UI/UX design field and I'm quite interested in so I have finished my course on UX and have done the portfolio. May I know more about your yourself that did you get a job?
This was really great Tshili. Thanks for sharing. I love how detailed you were with each section. It would be great if you had a future episode about transitioning from traditional graphic design to a product or UI design position. Thanks again.
Thank you so much Tshili for breaking it down into the most simplest form. For having considered those with lesser work experience was really awesome. Your contents are always suitable for all. I really needed this since i am just starting out a career in ui/ux. God bless you
i really love this video its well detailed and easy to understand, but if you dont mind i will like for you to make a video on userflow i have been having a really hard time understanding it.
The Question I have when it comes to mentioning the metrics on a resume is, How do we even get the information (Metrics) about how much impact we created?
@@thejas_HR if it’s a live product check the data of the platform. Ask your engineers or data team for before and after. Or use data from user tests. Compare the results of the test before and after your re-design. Ask your PM for any other data improvements like increase in revenue.
This was very helpful :) I am personally applying for UX design jobs at the moment. Would love to know what font size and font type that you are using. Thank you!
i have created 4 personal projects but i don't know how to write about Metrix rate as all of them created by me without any collaboration and testing how can I write about numbers in my resume please tell me i need to make a resume . please
@@reema6732 The only way to have data for personal projects is to do user tests for the old design and and another for the new design. I have a video on how to do tests ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EYUL0N1Fjhg.htmlsi=DNywllTxkto9dO6p
Thank you very much for the template, i have s little problem when I export the pdf file, when i selected the text an copy and paste some characters doesn't work :c
Thank you so much for the good contents ❤ I have one question, i don't have any real projects but i have 2 case studies , one for a mobile app, one for a website. İ dont know how to measure the success of my projects in my resume. Is it fine to generally say i improved the experience of the users ?
What if your projects are real life but have not been shipped and you don’t have conversion rates to show impact? What are alternatives to express impact? For example I designed a new responsive website but the client was not ready to launch their site. As a career changer from being a teacher, do you recommend putting your previous work experience?
That happens alot. You can talk about the % of when you tested it before handing it over to the client. You can user test the old and new designs yourself. Or just say you re-designed it. Yes include being a teacher, add the impact you made
I notice that you didn't include your image in the resume. Can you tell me why the reason is ? And what your recommendation for this? Should i include image in my resume or not.
Up to you, depends what is common practice in your country. For me the same reasons I mention in the video about keeping the layout simple for the ATS system that screens the resumes before a human sees them, it's easy to print when there's no colour. There's less discrimination as I am a minority, I want them to read my resume first before judging.
@@uxtshili Hi Tshili, very well made content. thank you! I have the same issue I subscribed email list and channel did 2-3 times but no emails can you please help regarding!
