HOW TO WRITE YOUR PERSONAL STATEMENT! | Eve 

No joke a girl at our school mentioned a book in her personal statement but didn't read it and her interviewer turned out to be the author of that book! Busted!

me watching this in 2020 with a blank word doc in front of me like 👁👄👁

remember that if you have things you can't fit into your statement or they don't match the course you're applying to (i.e you were an ambassador but for a different subject) but you still want them to be mentioned, then you can ask the teacher writing your reference to include it in there! That way they don't fill your personal statement with fairly irrelevant roles when you have such little character count in the first place but unis will still know that you've done them :)

I’m only just seeing this but I was hoping you had a video on this😩💜 Going to need this for November as that’s the deadline for this year

It's my first year doing biology (with the exam board wjec eduqas). I'm thinking of dropping it (i know it's late) because of my teacher. I don't know if this is how majority of the biology teachers teach like, but my teacher just expects us to learn whole topics ourselves and in lessons we play games but she doesn't actually teach us. I know in A-Levels you have to do majority of the learning yourself and i do for my other subjects (Chemistry and Psychology) but that knowledge is then solidified when my teachers actually teach it to me. I am that type of person who could revise for a long time but if someone doesn't go over it, even just roughly it doesn't stay in my mind in the long run. I don't find the lessons productive and it brings my morale down, sometimes i just don't care to revise for biology and i need to force myself because i feel like it's not worth it. There are some people who don't need teachers to teach it for them to understand and they do really good where as the rest of us are just left wondering what we learnt that lesson. I also feel like she has certain students who she favours more then the rest. I'm a bit confused and don't know what to do, can someone help me please. Does anyone know any videos i could watch for A-Level Biology, as i need to learn the topics some how....

My school is making us do our personal statements at the same time as our mocks and I’m just not prioritising it so it’s about 2 paragraph atm. Also we’re assigned our form teachers to give feedback and mine is really bad at it so I’ll have to find a new teacher to help me! Edit: we’re also being given deadlines for each of our drafts and I don’t know whether that’s effective for other people but it really isn’t for me
