We take a look at the all new firmware from HIKMICRO, version 5.5.39. This version introduces a whole new zeroing system, which finally makes the HIKMICRO thermal scopes (Panther and Thunder) great to zero!
Great work in assisting with this. This means my th35 can be taken off the bench after being relagated to spotter for a year This is huge !! Total respect and thanks
Sweet!, Got my tq50c today and updated the firmware immediatly. Wat would get this scope to 2022 standards is : Rifle profiles so you can use the same reticle for different rifles and setups, the option to have a longpress to turn the device on.. I say option, because some people will prefer direct startup, and some kind of image boost like pulsar has... Manual rangefinding would be nice to. ID also like to see some more colour profiles like sepia, wich doesnt ruin your nightvision.. I hope they dont make the mistake selling a product in this price range, only to forget about it and put all there attention towards there newer products, because the new Stellar scopes DO have the rifle profiles option....wich cant be that hard to implement for the other devices. As for Ben: Thnx for keeping us updated!
ok. You place the rectile onto the point of impact/aim freeze and then relocate the x & y to the place of target.? I believe it should be the opposite. ie place rectile onto the initial target, freeze and then relocate the rectile to point of impact.
That’s correct John. For the point of the video the heat pack was the point of impact not the point of sim. I’d have to rewatch the video to see if I explained that correctly:) need to make a new one for the new zeroing system as well.
@@HuntTheNight cool. I may have miss under stood, sorry mate. thanks for confirming. But the way I was seeing it was you placed it onto the shot and then placed it and recited it back onto the point of target.. Love these scopes and your vids, a grreat help.
