I have a Retinal detachment. Which also caused very bad cataracts. I recently just had my first surgery to straighten out my eye but I am still self-conscious about it.

nearly lost an eye in a fight myself took a poolball in the face andtwo hard kicks lol i told the lad my little sister hits harder its amazing how fast you can sobre up .jumped to my feet offered the whole group of lads outside to fight they shit themselves no one came out. and i took one of the women home that was with them .woke up next morning wanting round 2 so went to clear my nose of blood gave a good hard blow and thats when my flesh peeled from my face and eyeball was trying to come out i was holding it in thinking wtf is going on .my poor mother nearly feinted called my brother who perauaded me to go hospital .a cat scan later found i had an orbital floor fracture .broken cheekbone and nose .the nurses were so dissapointed that i discharged myself to go back out and deal with them given the danger of losing my eye and the concussion .but i wasnt going to lose respect in my local area and i explained id be back for the operation and no food water etc .which i did .and pride intact !some fucking birthday that was but anyone can dish it out its taking it that proves character and strength when i walked in my local pub the next day and was totally empty except the local biker crew said enough to me .they said come and have a pint on us son .being a fighter isnt a choice its who you are and you only find out if you are a real fighter once youre ass hits the deck its what you do after that defines who you are ! fight the good fight show no weakness !
