You know, the reason I want to become a personal trainer is because exercise helped me in so many levels. I stopped drinking, I started paying attention to my health, my sleep, my body, my mind and overall my entire being! But all these things, started to happen when I became a MindPump listener! So, I have to thank you guys for that first!🙏🙏

This is a great principle, and it applies to other fields. I work a technical job, and those who can do the job are an asset, but those who can mentor & teach others how to do the job are much more valuable.

Great episode. Enjoyed all of the caller questions, but the last caller, I can relate to. Not focusing on how you look has been hard for me as a 54 yr old post menopausal woman. I found my new focus a few years ago. So proud of this young woman who has figured it out in her mid 20s. I had the hugest smile on my face listening to you all giving her tips to help her get past this issue we all have or have gone through. This is why your podcast is so successful. You all care about helping people and not just selling your programs which look fantastic. No I don't have any of your programs yet. I messed up and didn't get one during your black Friday sale. I won't make that mistake again. Lol. Blessings to all of the Mind Pump people on camera and behind the scenes. 🙏

I’m so glad I found you guys. My only regret is not finding you sooner but definitely playing the catch up game! Kinda weird to feel so a part of something and yet apart from it at the same time. Day 4 into the anabolic pre-phase after 4 months of the push/pull/leg split and was most definitely overtraining this time around. I already moved up in weight on everything and feel like I’m more defined than last week! Though it is hard to tell if I’m stronger, or if I was just being a wimp last session 😂. Regardless of the weight though I always try and make it feel as heavy as I can. So maybe I’m just over thinking it! Thank you guys so much for all the gnarledge! Can’t wait to see what the other programs have in store

I’ve learned more from listening to MindPunp for a year than I have in my 20+ years of working out and paying to take courses to become a licensed fitness instructor and yoga teacher. Quitting Orange Theory and fitness classes and putting my faith in Anabolic changed my body and my life 🙏🏻

Also, I can really relate to your last caller. I’m a registered dietitian, fitness and yoga instructor and for years struggled with the control, weighed myself daily and weighed, measured and tracked everything I ate. I stopped weighing myself daily and stopped tracking. I focused on getting stronger, and 3 years later I feel so free. I haven’t weighed myself or tracked my food since. I’ve also let go of controlling the other areas of my life. I feel much more relaxed and present, and my anxiety I used to struggle with has disappeared. Your advice for her was spot on.

Knowledge is power. The more you know and the more you understand, the better results you'll see and the more you will place value on it. I think there's a difference between a trainer and a coach/mentor. A trainer can put you through the right movements and tell you what to eat all day long. But a real coach/mentor TEACHES. They share their knowledge with you so that you can learn to make it a lifestyle and implement lifelong change. In turn, you learn to VALUE it. We will always give effort to the things we truly value ❤

I was the same way with my kids in not giving them candy and soda when they were toddlers and even into their early teens but had the hardest time with my parents allowing them "diet" soda because they thought that this wasn't as bad even though I specifically asked them not to allow them that. Ultimately, they grew up not wanting or bingeing like people thought they would. They think that by allowing them that even in moderation will lead them to continue to control their cravings as they grow up not realizing that this is what keeps them craving that sugar rush.

Mind Pump, in your opinion, how do we evaluate a good trainer? I am writing from Brazil and fitness culture here is REALLY STRONG. Lots of people trying to sell "the perfect workout". Since I am a psychoanalyst and I work a lot, the idea of working out at home really works for me and I am really disciplined...I have a hard time choosing an online program. I feel like I am overtraing and eating too little.

Speaking of the weird habits or traditions that run in the family, I recently found out my great grandmas sister (or something like that) died in a concentration camp of starvation 2-3 days before U.S soldiers arrived, ever since then there’s been this thing with food, having abundance of it and never leaving anything on the plate.. and that made me realise how it could’ve contributed to my eating habits over time and lead to being 50kg overweight (which I lost over 10 years ago now) but definitely a weird connection.

the worst experience i ever had was at a big box style gym - when i joined i had three "free" sessions w/ a trainer and despite telling the first two i specifically wanted to learn how to use the squat rack (never worked with a barbell before and trying it on my own i felt the bar wasn't resting where it should and was rolling onto my neck) both just ran me around the gym trying to exhaust me i think and never got to that part. In retrospect i think they didn't know themselves. I never bothered to go back for a third session. if i ever go back to a gym scenario i'm just going to find a small gym w/ the biggest looking most intimidating dudes instead and hope for better. For now i'm sticking to dumb-bells in my house.

How do you regulate Ai? Well the EU just did (still working out some details), but as far as I know, a part of it is an Ai marking for all generated content and of course transparency regarding the data used for training the Ai. We will have to see where this goes exactly, but I hope, if you cannot put forth documentation and copyrights for the material used, you better delete your theft machine.
