Most people (to not say everyone) with this size had an abnormal grow spurt at some age, that's why they are clumsy. Wemby didn't had this grow spurt. He's born in a family of giant (both side of his family), so he's genetically gifted, had a steady growth, and his body feel natural for him.

Wemby will become the All Time Leading Scorer in NBA history barring injury. He is Wilt and Kareem without the restrictions they both had to play with. The game has evolved. No defense and 3 point shooting are to his advantage.

People will realize how great he really is when he's playing full minutes. If his current stats are extrapolated out, he's already on par with Giannis. At 19, right out of the gate, with only room to improve

The Spurs are tanking. Pop knows if Wemby plays more minutes and gets the ball more they would be winning a lot more games, be midtable (at the least) and miss out on top draft picks. They need that top draft pick.
