@@MalachiLper Cynthia's future kid better inherit Volo's craziness and actually succeed in restarting the universe. It'll make a good intro for the next gen game where civilization is only beginning.
My favourite part of the arceus lore was confirming that not only are hairstyles apparently genetic in the Pokemon universe but so too are musical themes.
Me:finally it's over Volo:Nope,go Giratina Me:wait, wait I need to heal After beat Altered form Me:finally.......OH SHIT,I forgot about origin form Giratina :transformed to origin form
God l remember me being so mad when my arcanine was one hit away for me victory was based on if my deciduye dodged togekiss air slash after defeating spirttomb
Like he said, he didn't care how long it took he will accomplish his dreams And thus I believe he'd just teach his children about how destroying people's lives work
Fun fact: Volo's Garchomp is male, meaning it should have a notch in its dorsal fin. The Garchomp playing the piano has a complete dorsal fin, making it female! Cynthia's Garchomp is canonically female, meaning... Arceus sent Cynthia's Garchomp back in time after you to teach her ancestor how to trigger your Cynthia PTSD with music! Where he'll presumably pass the practice down to his descendants, eventually resulting in Cynthia traumatizing you in the first place!
I think they just re-used the model for Cynthia's garchomp. Nice noticing tho, nerd! I would have never seen that. I forgot they were obsessed with adding all these small gender differences in gen IV.
@@jackalcoyote8777 I was mostly just trying to make a silly conspiracy joke but on the subject, the Garchomp in the Cynthia video DOES have the notch in its fin, making that one male! So yeah it's almost certainly a mistake both times. But the idea of a lineage of time-traveling piano-playing Garchomps stalking you across hundreds of years to traumatize you with Cynthia's theme is more fun.
I like to think that this song is passed down from generations , and every single member of cynthia's family tree and their pokemon knows a different version of it as they alter it to represent themselves better
Then why doesn't Cogita have a theme? Maybe we'll meet her in Pokemon Legends Kyurem, in the place Undella Town is supposed to be, and a TERRIFYING version of Cynthia's battle theme plays
For some reason I can imagine Volo enjoying seeing the trainer get burned by a Hyper Beam. And then he would turn around and patch them up like a doctor.
I'm convinced when there's the red eye at the top of the screen when you've been spotted by something violent yet nothing is there it was just Volo, and always will be Volo just stalking you out of gosh dang curiosity
The only reason *any* of Volo's pokemon can play instruments despite *none* of them should be able to in the first place is because Volo uses the powers of the Song of His People.
I wish we got more stuff about her grandmother and sister (her sister seems to only exist in the games), but most versions of her grandmother including the show and two mangas have her as a sassy lady (honestly, Professor Carolina was one of the highlights of the dull Galactic arc and I felt like she was about five minutes away from openly flirting with Cyrus).
I am Japanese and I am not very good at English. The volo in this video was very lively and I felt great love watching it. Thanks for making this video!
I really like Volo's voice in this. (Honestly, can't wait till they bring him to Masters, how this stacks up with whoever'll be his canon VA.) Edit, like a year later: they've all but confirmed that he will be in Masters, thanks to space-time distortions! I knew it! Edit 2: He's in Masters now! 😊
@@davethefyrezorua They play with bringing characters from different timelines and worlds (like Cyrus and Ghetsis were snatched midway thru their plans while the protagonists make allusions to having already stopped them), so I'd say it's a possibility they could pull the same thing here.
I don't see anyone talk about this, but Volo's fight theme being Cynthia's encounter, and Cynthia's fight theme being Volo's encounter is a really nice detail
@@saarza9991 I’ve gone to the peak of Everest, dived to the depths of Challenger Deep, but I still can’t find a s**t to give. Edit- for context, this person used a bot to spam comment. It was 100% called for.
everyone asking about how garchomp plays the piano or how giratina plas the vioin, but no one asks how volo manages to play the cello so beautifully yet so incorrectly
Arceus: "My son, how the fuck are you able to play the violin when I never gave you arms, let alone hands to play it with?" Giratina: "Honestly I dont have the slightest idea myself father."
@@justendy6763 prequel sequel. Time wise it's a prequel but since this video comes after the Cynthia one, and it's definitely a step up to the previous video, it's a sequel
@@YustinJ420 But the animations were made by them. The models, textures, and rigging was made by Game Freak. The animations were made by the guy. That's... the whole point.
“Ever heard of the secret back strike technique?” Yes, your betrayal Can’t wait until this vid gets like 1 million views. Also this video also got me more hyped up to make Volo fan art , since I absolutely love him. I take screenshots and videos on my switch every time this man appears
I laugh more then need it at yor comment Haha And yes love me some Volo fanart after discovering you can buy the clothes volo wears and his hairstyle i went full Volo drip on the new update
@@Rprot_traveler Lol I can’t do digital art since I don’t really have the money for it rn (Fam and I going to Mexico for summer trip) so I had to do it on paper. It looks decent, better than my past drawings Edit: Glad I could make someone laugh
Imagine if this was to actually in game, after you beat the post game final boss and return to the place where that battle took place, (Yes I'm avoiding spoilers.) And you see Volo composing this while stating it will strike fear in the hearts of trainers for generations to come. XD Or better let, Game Freak announce that this is canon. XD
I like Pokemon Legends Arceus a lot, but, imagine if this was the actual game, this kind of cutscenes with dialoge would so cool and adds a lot of personallity to the characters
Especially when there's no humans in Pokémon Legends Arceus, only Pokémon, you're even a Pokémon in this game, more specifically, you're either Rowlet, Cyndaquil or Oshawott.
Ngl wish they not only had voice acting but always stuff like that bubble speech in this game too! It would be comical, but it will also bring so much life to this game. This was great btw!
Dude, I'm so impressed by the absolute quality of the animation for a -RU-vidr- bear who has 3 videos to their name. I absolutely adore your animation style and how you're able to perfectly capture the feel of the games in them. 10/10 will watch it again.
Volo : I'm actually Cynthia's husband. Trainer : Wait, that's still the near past, let's try a more distant one. _trainer goes to the distant past_ Trainer : Finally ! I've arrived in the distant past, surely neither Cynthia nor her husband can fi- Trainer : Wait, why am i turned into a Pokémon ? Garchomp : Welcome to the Pokémon world, human ! Trainer : Maybe i should've went to the future instead...
I feel like Volo is the man that went full out Best battle ever and made sure that he makes everyone know that he’s the ancestor of Cynthia the hardest champion
I am Japanese. I watch it over and over! Many times a day...! I love your videos❤ I regret that I should have studied English more.... (I use a translation app.)
Wow voice acting in Pokémon is a lot more natural than I thought it would be. The sound effects are the perfect little touch that wraps the bow all nicely. Wonderful animation. Please make a series about Volos wacky antics of intentionally leading the player astray
Garchomp gets me every time! Him playing piano on time with music Is hilariuous. And don't get me started on the solo violin Giratina. Great idea, great execution. Loved the video c:
Volo does kinda creep me out how he just appears out of know were and is just like "what's up how your story doing, good cool mine too bye" at least he is nice to us
Bro i love volo's voice, it sounds exactly what imagined in my head, oh man! It sounds so welcoming, and friendly, i cant wait for whoever voice acted volo, to do the plot twist lines!!! If it happens of course... not to mention the animation! OH. MY. GAH. it's so fricken good, especially the part where volo snuck behind akari, you captured volo's personality so well ahh! Sorry im geeking out again... thats how good it is! Amazing job on this!(pro~obably should've said this at the start)
And in the full version, we see Dawn surviving Snorlax using Hyper Beam on her with no injuries whatsoever, showing that Pokémon can't attack humans, and then near the end, we see Dawn getting turned into Rowlet, and other humans getting turned into other Pokémon, showing that this isn't Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl anymore and that this is now Pokémon Legends Arceus, and then we see Snorlax using Hyper Beam again on the now turned Rowlet, but with Rowlet not making it through because she fainted, showing that because you're a Pokémon, you can get attacked by other Pokémon in Pokémon Legends Arceus, and then the video finally ends.
@@thepurestvessel998 Yes, and in Legends Arceus, there are no humans, only Pokémon, so she's indeed Dawn because the video takes place in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
@@thepurestvessel998 You really are a human turned Pokémon in Legends Arceus, it's just that in this game, you can get attacked by other Pokémon, and that you're a Pokémon yourself so that the game can still be rated E.
