@@Vodboi well, trying to get 100% eva plus ward will save your life on this 0,001% chance of being hit. I assume that was the intended stuff without abusing it lol

@@dondregon5795 But getting a decent amount of ward AND evasion is REALLY hard, most often if you want that its just easier to go evasion and ES, and then you also get to use ghost shrouds etc.

Ward is basically only viable when used together with the Olroth's Resolve flask that makes Ward not break during flask effect. If the flask has 100% uptime your Ward never breaks and that makes Cast When Damage Taken (CWDT) builds much more viable.

No, because Mageblood never "uses" your flask.

Because Ward is pretty much only used in Cast When Damage Taken (CWDT) builds that triggers at least 1 spell 5 times a second. Some CWDT builds have upwards of 3-4 spells triggered constantly which means your screen will be filled with visual effects from the spell making it hard to see anything. Some spell setups are worse than others. If you are playing Ball Lightning you will probably also turn off sound because that shit is horrible to listen to.

Armor and resistances are taken into account first, along with any other damage reduction. After that Ward takes the damage first. You subtract your ward from the damage, and take the remainder on your ES/LIFE as normal. Ward takes 5 seconds to come back, and it comes back to full, i.e. it doesn't charge up over time like Energy Shield, and taking damage does not stop or delay it from coming back on time.

Yeah there's a flask that makes your ward not dissipate on taking a hit, so it becomes a flat damage reduction.

If you block the hit it doesn't take away ward. Probably got a bunch of block remnants
