Hockey is so underrated on how athletic you have to be and how an average person is less likely to be able to even ice skate. It makes sense that soccer players are the fittest athletes of sports, but in my opinion its next to Swimming & combat sports, but Ice Hockey requires a ton of focus under a lot of pressure with high speeds and a lot of physical restraint.

I don't usually respond but I have a question on topic. If fans raise and lower testosterone by teams they follow win/lose, is that or could that be something that also happens in the online Gaming community? There are very competitive, war-like fights and such? May be worth looking into.

I kind of had the same experience as Joe but it happened because I lost in the sport I was playing. We lost our championship game in basketball and I still remember us all red eyed and crying in the locker room. The next day I told myself I'd never take a sport THAT seriously again.

Sport is crazy. My team lost a semi-final in 2019, « Corner taken quicklyyyy…. Origiiiiiiiii ». I had nightmares that night, I still cant get myself to watch the highlight. Its haunting. It was worse than any break-up.

I was abought to die in a fight that night in a fight that didn't even involve me. It started a riot in the center of 5000 ppl beer bottles everywhere. Being a southern California (San Diego) AAA hockey player my entire [edit] LIFE*& people ask about fighting in hockey, they fight in hockey for exact reason this man explained in the beginning. When the teams down a goal an no momentum, send out the giant 6' 8" bruiser at the end of the beach, voice out the number you want him to take out & bing bang boom! Electricity is in the air because you know shits about to go down. It's like you forget about being dead winded & being hit with an adrenaline hit. Momentum & controlling the minds / attitudes of the other team as well as yours is huge. BTW many other reasons to fight in hockey but the one i referring to is a major one.

There's a hundred different ways you can measure which sport's athletes are "the fittest". I like to look at it as which sport gives someone playing it at a high level the widest and most applicable skillset and kinetic intelligence and ability to be competent in the most other sports. In which case it HAS to be wrestlers. They're like powerlifters, sprinters, linemen, tough mudders, and gymnasts all at the same time
