i have a couple videos about water/meth injection... for some reason people really like to hate on what they do not understand, instead of learning. they buy products and want to pretend like everything they have is the best but have no idea why.

This is because it is difficult for someone to grasp temperature differences of the airfuel mixture. Basically, they are relying too much on afrs to gauge how much more boost or timing one can run.

no it doesn't replace gas...you will be able to use the less expensive gas with the added methanol plus when tuned get lots more power

Yes. As in: it depends on how it was set up. The cheaper/easier system would be always on (above certain RPM), but if you really want to feel special, you could have a system designed (and an ECU programme created) that would allow you to manually turn it on and off. NOS systems can be used the same way. Outside of drag racing, low-pressure NOS systems slowly deliver NO2 for the entirety of a multi-lap race. NOS and Water/Meth injection can work in much the same way in this case. In fact, NOS provides better cooling.

The consumption rate of the WM will depend on your start and full pressure settings, and ultimately your driving habits. Typically our 1.15 gallon tank will last for the length of a tank of gas. Our standard controller is boost dependent, meaning you set the boost pressure you want the WMI to start flowing at, and the pressure you want full flow at. The controller then interpolates these two points to deliver a linear fuel flow curve between the start and full pressure points. You can also use our Multi-Input Controller to set start and full pressure from MAF reading or IDC.

Sigrafix To take full advantage of a system the car should be retuned with the water/methanol injection. On our system we include a fluid level sensor so in the case that you run out of fluid it can send a low side ground output through our controller to your ecu to switch maps.

AEMpowerTV Thank you! That's what I wanted to know.. now this brings me to my next 2 questions, 1. How big would a typical methanol tank be? and 2. How long would that amount of meth last in moderate use?.. ideally I'd consider a low constant meth injection to supplement fuel for a bit more power at all times but I'm not sure if that's realistic or even possible.

Forgot to mention I turned off the pump after realizing I forgot the tune. It will be tuned once I get the file.
