When someone tries so hard to manipulate me, I love to give them headaches, but I always value honest person.

Thank you for this! It also made me think about how even though something looks bad, it is not always bad. I grew up around a lot of poor people and street people and have also experienced poverty and homelessness. As an adult, I have worked with people in shelters and human services. Some may look bad on paper and are often judged, because we see their struggles. People with private property have private family struggles, financial difficulties or struggle with substances and other behaviors privately, but the poor and homeless are often seen during their difficulties, in multiple family housing, on the buslines and streets. They may have to ask for help, which leaves an opening to judge. Most people don’t know how they would behave in extreme hardship. I have got to know poor and street people very well and have seen the most glowing examples of generosity, love and caring for others among the poor…even those who look very rough on the outsides can live principled lives. Many see being poor as a result of not having priorities. I see it as quite the other way around, often. It’s hard to get rich by being generous and helping others. I love the history of scholarship in the Jewish religion, the striving to expand the mind and understanding of all creation and existence. We live in a society where judgments are made quickly and reality is distorted, by those with vested interests in influencing our perceptions. We need to know how to engage more than our eyes and what we are told and question common perceptions and assumptions!

Chuckle, chuckle. "You're as objective as your perspectives allow". Brings to the forefront of my mind a recent experience Hubby and I had. We laughed at ourselves so hard, and so often. It was never easy to stay normal. They are like children, holding on to their cartoons. Makes them feel safe. Plus gives them a status. In order for knowledge to advance, it must constantly fight against the rigidity of previously established rules. Not against the holiness of God, but against the holiness of man. And knowing the difference. That is where wisdom lives. God bless you.

this is exactly what I need to hear. and it is the timely message.

I am not particularly religious but I do enjoy listening and learning. I like your approach, and the way you handle tough conversations. I wish I had this much patience with my children. I don't always agree, and I find listening brings up a hundred questions. This talk made me think of the current times we are in where reality seems to have shifted a bit for a great many people. Those people question the reality that a great many people are experiencing. In order for one group to believe what they do they had to fall down a deep dark rabbit hole (widening the net I guess) and in order for someone like me to try to understand this kind of thinking and belief I I have to "un-believe" everything I know, everything I was taught, things I can see, things I have experienced. I have to feel anger, hatred even, I have to distrust, I have to go again my instinct in order to meet these people where they are. My reaction is "you are crazy" their reaction is "you are asleep". As a human on this planet, most especially in the country I know that there is a lot of manipulation in media, politics, culture, advertising... I can't stop it but I know how to not participate in it. When I know better I do better, or I try. I also know that perception for me has a lot to do with how I reference something, depending on where I live, the color of my skin, the language I speak, the way my culture tells a story, what I am taught, what we know it in the moment regarding science and technology, my religion or my atheism, and sadly what I simply want to believe because some things are just too hard to accept. I feel like over the decades, generations, millenniums we experiment, we change, we grow, we adapt, then we change again, it is a never ending human experience. How do I shut out the noise that seems hurtful, unkind, not very fact based, mostly because, in my opinion so many are so afraid that this fear creates an other so they can blame instead of work, learn, do better. Is it my job to enlighten people, is it my job to fall down that rabbit hole and try to see what they see? My fear is that "waking-up" in that other place will mean waking up to fear that I wouldn't be able to process. What is real? Is it this moment in time when people are finding that real isn't real at all and that may keep humans from ever unifying in a beautiful healthy way that helps us become better together?

I think people have to realize that God is not easy. This love is not easy because you must give of yourself completely. You live for Him. His will is yours. That means you love Him in this world. That means you love God in your image. Our image is our world. He is in all of us, not just the Jew or the Christian or the Hindu... We are all one but the challenge is to unconditionally love the OTHER. Whoever does that will experience the masculine who is in the feminine. We are her and He is in us 🙏🔥

We were recently in outback Australia on a nature reserve. Australia is a land of tough inedible plants, and here were small bushes, some with sharp thorns, which continually got into boots and socks. After a week or so I looked closer at some bushes called saltbush, and was surprised to find a soft , even juicy leafed edible plant.

The thing that's always bothered me about experts is, as you said, wisdom gives them the ability to see patterns and a trajectory, and I agree mostly, but I also think that it can be confining and imprison someone if they have a bad trajectory and are convinced they won't be able to deviate. Imagine we're a bullet and we're shot out of someone else's gun and are heading towards something we really don't want to hit. The force that's throwing us that direction is tremendous and may even seem hopeless, but the possibility to deviate due to wind or collision with another object is still there. From an outside observer they might say "if you so desperately don't want to go that way then don't" without understanding the tremendous force pushing them that way. And yet some "bullets" ARE able to deviate, even just by a fraction regardless, and a lay person sees no great accomplishment not realizing just how difficult that is to do

Pa one riječi: Čuti kad ja govorim,zar ti odijelu noć od dana,zar ti dade imena zvijezdama,sazviježđa,galaksijama? I Job je ostao skrušen,ponizan ali je SHVATIO. Dakle,ja osobno nisam napisao neku modificiranu knjigu u tajnosti i išao osnivati neku novu religiju jer u toj verziji koju sam čitao jasno piše da je Biblija knjiga za sva vremena i kao ti se onome tko izostavi ili doda jedan Jot. A što su se moje riječi izokretake,što su radili suprotno to već nije moj problem. Kada su postali agresivni i svađalački nastrojeni onda sam im pokazao da mogu biti agresivniji i zločestiji od svih njih zajedno. I kako je tko vrijeđao ili normalno komunicirao takvi su bili moji komentari. I nastala je ZBRKA. Kako riješiti ZBRKU? Albert je riješavao Filozofomatematikom i dolazio je u sukob i sa neznabopcima i sa vjernicima ali nije se tukao šakama ni noževima. Jesam li u pravu? I learn much from your lectures, at the same time you must admit everyone has biases. Consequently learning from others can sometimes not be to the listeners benefit. As an example, you state that what we see can be deceiving and you would be right. You also suggest going to the "experts." But what expert would you suggest? A heart expert, an expert in emotions, a psychiatrist - who interpret everything in very "quirqy" ways with t😂heir own particular bias at looking at things - and who would, no doubt, "put you away like a 'human' judge, with their own biases would put the innocent "defendant" away sometimes for a very long time because - well its how the judge feels about it! But Im going off topic. If you had lived in Rachel and Rabbi Akiva's time and were the father of Rachel, would you cut her off without a penny? More instances from Torah.

With an increase of technical computing becoming more matted into our personal devices. Security can only do so much with protecting our unpublished works and our identities. This can be easily overlooked and ignored, but it can also create a sense of distrust or defeat due to the immense technical power of the leading companies in AI technology.
