Lydia the drone uses the same lithium battery. If you want some peace of mind go to a hobby store that sells radio control toys. Don't go to walmart type stores they will not have it. An actual rc hobby store. You can purchase a bag that you place batteries into charge. Then are a fire proof pouch for charging. You could set your phone in it for charging. I am glad that you didn't get seriously hurt.

Just to answer your question Lydia & Jim, Gus looks like a cute little doggie puppy!!! Hair grows back. And "I" spending my childhood cutting my moms and sisters hair....I couldn't do a better job. Props to you. P.S, I've cut my own hair most of my life. So, Gus looks great.!!! 🐶

Don't worry Lydia, you aren't the only one! I've had a phone battery blow up while I had the phone in my hand too! It blew the back right off my phone and flew across the kitchen!

After the past couple of years with little rain here in the DFW area, I thought I would never complain about too much rain, but Lord! We have had more than ample rain. Yet another 2 inches in my rain gauge this morning from the storms overnight. I think y'all are getting a similar experience. Anyway, thanks for sharing the projects, I always enjoy them.

If you do anything with the containers top is the most important. Make sure all problems with the top are located and fixed. Later a leaky roof is difficult to locate and fix

Awesome idea with containers. Only concern I have is with 40ft containers, there will be a gap between the container and the concrete, and as you load stuff up in the container, they will flex a bit. I would suggest to put some braces/shims under the edges of the sides of the container in about 3 places, this may prevent the flexing of the containers. Sure hope this makes sense.

You sure get a lot done between showers. That's going to be one sturdy safe area to be in, in case of really bad weather, hopefully you won't need it but my guess is at some point you will. Gus looks really Good by the way Jill cut's my hair also I usually react the same as Gus does 😊.

Take two ladders and a 12 foot 2 x 12. Put the 2 x 12 on each ladders steps and waa laa you have a whotis scaffold. Saves lots of moving and climbing of ladders etc

I always preheat the thicker side first it seems to help not make holes in the thinner stuff. Good luck to ya big job

Looks like the Broken Welder has become the Redeemed Welder. Of course, I didn't recognize him in the imposter suit. Curious how hard is it weld while wearing floaties on your arms? :) .. as for the Container Aimer, "missed it by THAT much". bwahaha Gus looks happy, and that's what matters (well, that and he steals the show every time)

Jim I don’t know how often you use the metal chop saw but Diablo just made a new metal blade for those saws that cuts a lot faster than normal metal blades do

Jim is like me . When I start something I hate stopping when I'm almost done. Circumstances are telling me to stop but I usually don't listen and finish the job and except any consequences after. I expected Lydia's critique of the welding to go different.😊 Nice welding outfit😊 One more step done. Good idea adding the pipe supports.. Doing a little extra for safety purposes never hurts. Lydia's experience with the phone battery is why I just buy a new phone. I had one start to get hot on me and I took it outside . Fortunately I haven't had that problem since. As always enjoyed seeing you two in another video 😊

Oh also, Lydia, I recommend "Silvex wound gel". Works for 1st and 2nd degree burns, lacerations, infection....and more. Every 1st aid kit should have this in it. I've noticed that the Gel is safer to use long term than a greasy ointment because the wound can breathe. 🙏🏻

Do you know or not if the paint on those containers have lead in it? If it does, it might be best not to breath that stuff when your buffing. Be safe and I really enjoy your videos.

I think Gus just looks like Gus with short hair. He's a magnificent beast. I know you're worried about those containers and you're taking every precaution but I've seen those containers dropped from 20' in the air, fall off ships, flip over, stacked 6 high and stuff fall on them. What's in the container gets a worse pounding than the container itself. Those things are made to take a beating and be stacked every which way you can imagine. The military builds entire camps out of those things. But, I live in Florida and can understand taking precautions in the event of a hurricane, tornado, or flood. You guys are awesome. Lydia, soak that hand in hot Epson salt water.

Be thankful the phone didn't combust in his pocket & catch him & his clothes on fire, because there was a guy on a surveillance camera, at a convenience store, that that happened to him. The clerk grabbed a fire extinguisher to put him out & he went to the hospital with burns on some of his man parts because his phone was in his pants pocket. 😱🤯🙊🔥

I enjoyed this episode as always. But I have a question. You jacked up the cargo container to put the pads underneath the pipes. That seems to me like there will be more pressure underneath those pads than if the cargo container was distributing the weight along the whole base. Is that the case or am I missing something?

looks like you were using a 7018 rod to weld with. on rusty metal a 6024 would have been better. it would produce a cleaner weld. less chance of it cracking.
