We’ve been using Build it Yourself books for topics for science and history and has been way easier than following a strict curriculum. I’d say this way of learning also helped my kids retain what they learned vs regurgitation of test facts. Love your videos! You have a calm spirit that’s encouraging.

This is awesome! ❤️✏️📚📒 I've been searching around about curriculum and I am glad I've found your video! I have a 5 year old whose super into cells and biology. We do interest-led learning but I've been worrying about him getting a well rounded education. I want to build a curriculum where he will be challenged but not discouraged. I was getting lost and discouraged in building it, but after this video I feel like I got this! Thank you!!!! Subscribed!

You give me life Lady !!!! It’s not about rushing or comparing ... it’s about your kids .. their needs and interests !!! Feed them mentally !!! A mentally strong child is a happy child !! My Husband always says be the parent you wish you had .. teach the way you would have wanted to be taught .. !! I absolutely love all of your videos 💓 !! I watched your building curriculum vid a long time ago when I was just starting homeschool. I remember you as the "extra" lady, as I'm much the same! This video is excellent and unique from the other. Thanks for this. We also do interest-based learning and I made goals, yet I hadn't included my kids on the goal-making. Next step. I also appreciate you saying to make boxed curriculum work for you. Thanks again.

Can you do a video on how you deal with attitudes or discipline when your kids were younger? I cannot motivate my kids to do much of what I ask without attitudes

Wow, this was the most constructive video I have watched. Thank you!!! This is my second year of homeschooling and with having my fourth baby we are just finding our groove. This helps me think more strategically in planning ahead STARTING with goals and my kiddos. I have just been buying curriculum and fitting the kids into them. I LOVE this approach. Thank you again!!

not really 😊 the system hasn't changed... just the rewards and point allocation as our needs/goals grow and change with us. 💕💙 (oh, and we added digital tokens as well... about a year or so ago. but same system)
