We left Australia after more than 40 yrs living there... Australia is still crackingly good country for living, compared to USA and most of Europe. The biggest disadvantage is it's sheer distance and long flights to and from the Land down under... We are currently in Croatia and therefore able to compare these two countries and systems

Hey Roel, I dont know if things have changed since my dating days but woman from Balkan are usually very serious and want to date only if it leads up to something serious if that you then it could be great for you. I believe they would find it interesting to date guys from different parts of the world for sure with different experiences. Making friends here is also quite easy, head over to expat groups on facebook and thats how you can get in touch with your first people via meet ups and then grow it from there. All the best

I understand this is very confusing to most people why A Serb would come to Croatia and promote Croatia, My family were all from Dalmatia, my families bloodline is here. Even though most of my family have moved to Serbia because of the war I still see this as my country. Even though Jugoslavija didnt work, I still see all of us as brothers. And even though some dont accept me here its just something I have to suck up & get on with.

@@Dusan.Grujic In the end we ARE same people... literally...whatever either side want's to call themselves and whatever customs they want to practice... can't fool genetics. Before the concept of nations there were people here. Funny how they found DNA of the stone age man found frozen in the Alps in his descendants living not far away in both Austrian and Italian side but we are suddenly some new people that never came from here... I tell you fake separation stories all of them. Just so someone can rule over certain land. Divide et impera.

@@neznamtija8081 hey, So the chances that Serbia attack Croatia in my opinion are very slim. Not only do the Serbian people absolutely not want that but also the simple fact that if they ever did attack Croatia they would have to fight the whole European Union which would be an impossible fight to go against. The only way they would ever be a war between the two in my opinion is if ww3 kicked off and they took the Russians side. But considering their location it makes more sense to be a neutral country otherwise it could be potentially devastation. In regards to my family we can either go to the UK to escape or Latvia. But either of these won’t be a good option either if there was a ww3 and feel more safer here than either of those.
