Omg guyyyys😭. What a freaking honor to have been part of your inspiration tree🥹❤️. We’re so very proud of where you are today, and even luckier to call you our friends❤️❤️
I left the matrix of IT and became a tattoo artist. My husband and I watched your videos from the beginning and became so inspired. We had plans but he suddenly passed away a few months ago. NOW, I'm doing everything we planned. Please continue with this content and more e-commerce. I've started a channel and creating low content books. Hope to run into you both out there some day. Cheers.
5 years ago I built a home in Thailand for my Thai wife and myself to live one day and we are both stuck in Australia still living in the Matrix 😢 every day we live on repeat and want to go to live full time in the home we built for our future. We finally started our channel 3 weeks ago now and taking it slow to hopefully build it up so we can use this as some sort of income in the future to finally relocate to our Thailand home with in a year 😊 and start to create our Thailand series. This video has truly inspired us to work harder and try to be more confident and less camera shy. You have to start somewhere to get to where you want to go. Thanks.
You are 100% right about the fact that the majority of people are stuck in the Matrix. I have been feeling this way for months. Thank you for the insights and sharing your journey and I wish you both all the best! 🙂
Im 39, still looking for a way out of the Matrix. I feel like every year it gets harder but I’m still optimistic that one day I find a way…and your video now also helps to see how others managed to escape 😊
What a great video guys! We felt like you were telling some of our story ... (though you have gotten out much earlier in life which is awesome). We escaped the Matrix a couple of years ago, quit Government jobs in NZ and took off travelling. We would love to see more informative content like this, especially about growing RU-vid as we are approaching the "magical" 1000 subs but progress is slower than desired. We have followed you guys for a while now and really enjoy the honest and authentic way you share your life :)
Next video, do you still have a on line business? If so what is it exactly? Your analytics for you tube show you don't make a whole pile of money is this enough to live on in Thailand? Are you planning ahead for things like retirement or education for your children or just living in the now? Thanks
35 I am 65 and sold it all. I don't have much money.. I have a basic government low income pension. I have worked hard all my life. Caring for people I should have not cared for. Don't want to live in a place that tells me I need this and that.... I am coming to Thailand... I want to enjoy my life. The matrix... learned about that after my Near Death Experience.
Oh this video makes me want to cry. I am searching for this very thing. I’m a lot older than you both, but that doesn’t mean I don’t strive to have a life where I feel comfortable in my own skin. The thing that I think hits hardest with me…is get rid of my material possessions! I don’t need them! I think they hold me back. I’m working on that now, and hoping to be free from all this mest (material belongings). Especially after running into a scare with breast cancer, it’s just given me that much more incentive to find my happy place. I’ve watched your channel for a couple years now and I’m truly inspired and grateful. ❤😊 I can’t wait for baby!! Love you guys! ❤
I have enjoyed all your videos very much. Although I think I’ve been following your videos since the beginning, and you gave a very nice recap. I spent 22 years of my life in the military and 17 years of it was in Germany. I was fortunate because I got to travel while I was in the military. My daughter was born in Germany. I’ve been divorced for many years, but my ex-wife and I are still very good friends. Her favorite pastime is cruising, and we’ve been on quite a few cruises together. We live about four hours apart; she lives with our her daughter and our son lives about 8 miles from me. For the past four or five years my golfing buddy and I have done a lot of traveling as well. As a matter of fact, March 11 through the 21st 2025 we will be in Phuket, Thailand. It will be our second trip to Phuket and the last time we even spent a few days at Krabi, Thailand. At last count I’ve been to 42 different countries and five continents. Thailand is one of my favorites. Keep doing what you’re doing. I enjoy all your videos and I’m looking forward to you guys becoming a family. I am pushing 81 years of age and I’m going to continue to travel as much as I can, but I know my time is running out, but it’s been one heck of a life.
Felt stuck in the Matrix since college…and it’s been 50 years. Stuck in a typical female job (nurse) and constantly fighting depression. People today are fortunate to have more choices. TAKE THEM! Don’t wait, kids.
Awesome😎 an amazing journey for you both full of grit and determination. I now for the next excitement🍼🙂!! Wishing you joy and success in all your future endeavours- especially Mandy! From a 77 year old missing his Thai home and family near Sakon Nakhon!
Oh yes you guys are soo right! I’m currently on Kamala Beach Phuket a bit touristy but ok in low season but the locals cannot wait for the high season they are telling me. and don’t want to leave! The freedom feels so wonderful in this country. Australia is a controlled country I’m not looking forward to going back great vlog guys and Mandy you look glowing! Xx
Nice work guys, truly inspirational! Been watching your story unfold from the outset of your channel 🙂 Passing thru Hua Hin next week as part of 2.5 months in Thailand so I'll be hoping to bump into Lloyd at the fruit stand so I can buy you both a smoothie!!
Thanks for sharing these experiences. I enjoy your depth of thinking and honesty. To most red-pilled, the matrix is far more sinister. The bigger agendas against humanity are truly scary. You have found your niche on RU-vid which is still pretty censored. You have now put down roots in Thailand. Totally agree with your choice. Your journey is inspiring.
Love how real you guys are! Thankyou for this inspiring video! This is great content. Interested to learn more in depth how you guys achieve this life 😃
Great video guys. Relocating from Canada to Thailand soon. I am executor for a will in my extended family, so stuck here for a couple more months. In the process of giving away and donating all my stuff. What you said is true about accumulating lots of stuff when your in the same place for a long time and have the space to collect more stuff. Really looking forward to the coming changes to my life.
Hi A video on your online businesses other than RU-vid, that enables you guys not to have to be travel vlogging, and can settle somewhere, would be great ... 👍🏼
Such an Awesome video ! !! Seriously. Hope to meet you in my future home,Hua Hin ,at least for some of the time. Pai is also on my mind. except for smokey season. Heading that way in the next couple months. Aloha from Maui 🤙😎 Did you really find it hard to find your villa there ?
Great Video you two ! There was a glitch in the "Matrix" for me on January 22nd 2024. Lloyd, hope to meet you both in less than 5 years and that beer or drink we talked about getting, it's on me :) RU-vidrs like yourselves are the reason I will retire happy to SE Asia and not rot away working till 70 hoping I can retire and still get by here in the USA.
Congrats guys! We've been watching you for a long time and you were an inspiration to us to take the leap as well. RU-vid is challenging but rewarding. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Great video! I laughed when you said you were boring. I can relate to this because we moved from freezing cold & expensive Canada to Mexico Puerto Vallarta 2 years ago. Everyone seems to see us as these exciting adventurous people but really we are not. We live regular lives just with better weather, food, and overall quality of life for less! Just returned from a visit and it's gotten so much worse and it is depressing! Your Matrix reference is right on!
Off topic, but i love the dancing guy from byron, he's still there doing his thing. On my way to leave the matrix hopefully one day aswell. Well done guy's, all the best for the soon 4 of u. Cheers from NSW.
Come and have a look at China, especially Shanghai. If you do, forget the tourist stuff, rent an apartment for a month on a tourist visa and get into real life in Shanghai, its amazing.
Love LOVE loved this video, 🤗thank you both are so inspirational, thank you for sharing your story, and yes please more content like this on steps to exit matrix and financial freedom through living a life that is loved and lived the way it was intended (freedom) Many Blessings and protection, health and happiness for you both and your little one on the way 💫🤍
Hey guys... thanks for sharing this story. I am now going to share it with our kids. My wife and I are in Hua Hin. We hope to meet up with you guys sometime. I am in the states until November 15th.
Great video you two, been following from the beginning. I retired three years ago and I’m totally disenchanted with the western way of life and culture. I have childhood friends living in Hua Hin and Na trang Vietnam , looks like a major move for me is coming this winter. When you chose to have your baby there that sold me on the quality of life achievable in south Asia , keep up the great vids!
Yes, I'd be very interested to see a video about what you learned about how to make a successful travel RU-vid channel, and what you would do differently if you were to start it again from zero to speed up the process, and any advice you would have about that. Thanks!
Thank you both for sharing. Wonderful stuff. All the best for your family in such a beautiful Country. Thailand people are so respectful and we in the west can learn so much from them.
So glad you persevered through it all and reached the level of quality content of this video. Side-note regarding health. Just read an excellent book called Good Energy by Casey Means that I think you would love.
Loved this! Have watched you guys from the start, your vlogs have changed so much and get better and better. Love Thailand and watching you live there. Look forward to seeing bub and look forward to more vlogs just even everyday life in Thailand.
My soon to be husband and I will be traveling to Thailand for our honeymoon in November, I've lived in Bangkok and Singapore in the 70's and 80's and would love to live there again. Working remotely for a national US company but time zone difference just won't be possible as I'd have to work 3rd shift to be able to contact healthcare hospitals/offices that are open. I am enrolling in medical coding, so as to avoid time zone issues. Is there anyone out there that has any tips on where to look for remote employment within S.E.A?
Came across your channel yesterday and watched this video after watching a few before. I'm very much interested on knowing more about how you make money on youtube, how you structure videos, editing etc. Cheers from the UK!
you guys are living the dream, and still have vibes from city matrix. i seen couples sitting next to each other in Therapy for 27 years, strange vibes, not alot of affection. been at this life game a long time. you two need other couples to spice it up. guys and girls have separate night or weekend adventures away from each other, a nice balance. hope this helps...body language shows more then verbal. i recommended a great life coach.
You ARE inspiring, Guys. I wish you both the best of luck with becoming parents and also I am wishing that Mandy is very safely delivered of a very healthy baby! Safe journey on and upward. I will be watching. - Abbie in Seattle
You guys are awesome and an inspiration! God bless you! I would like to recommend a small church called Victory Church Hua Hin. My wife and two kids really enjoyed it while we were there. The pastor and his wife are so loving and kind! Congratulations on all your hard work paying off. I remember when the videos first started posting haha they have come a long ways 😀
First, congratulations on your firstborn. Second, congratulations on such an inspiring message. I wish you much health and well-being. I left the matrix last year and now building my own freedom.
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.. this content!! I want to do the same - do you offer guidance around skills/youtube, setting up, etc. I'm burnt out and need to break free, too!! ❤
No, using th term "the matrix" is not at all "coooky". Used all the time these days. Because it is spot on true. I'm trying to get to Thailand in December/ January for at least a month.
Nice video. I thought you guys left Southeast Asia partly because you got tired of everyone wearing masks, and not being able to see people's faces (which I completely understand - I felt the same way last time I was there). It somehow gets very tiring to live in a masked society. Do you feel like enough people have stopped wearing masks there now? Also, for me the heat and humidity of Southeast Asia (and the air pollution, noise pollution, and chaos in the cities) is a challenge. How is that for you?
